I thought the pedophiles were relegated to completely degenerate sites like twitter and reddit, where they'd share their "art" for free. Apparently, there's a whole genre called "cunny games" if this top-dooted reviewer is to be believed. I can understand how their "art" can be tolerated in a free speech society but how the fuck are companies like this popping up that specifically masterbate pedophiles? I thought payment processors were supposed to step in and prevent this sort of thing from being monetized from an ESG perspective.

The mature content filters for porn games on the store are enabled by default (But can be easily disabled in your account settings), which is probably enough for any sanctioning body.

I played this game when it came out in EA, thought it was decent. A few days later I checked the review section; Top review at the time had the phrase "...I am a lolicon..." and there were many more reviews that shared the same sentiment.

This was one of the rare cases in which the community of a videogame made me totally disassociate with it. Refund was not an option at that point, so I permanently removed the game from my steam library.

Valve is not publicly traded so ESG concerns are not in their top priority. They can afford to let more risque games being on their Steam store ever since they opened the gates to basically all forms of art (obvious exceptions are abound but they are few and far between).

Anecdotally, Steam also seems to be really ichy with the trigger finger for removing links to mods in community sections; there might be a few good and bad reasons for that, but that's also going to play in their favor when it comes to risk assessment since by complete coincidence this likely also stems the tide of pedophiles coagulating to link mods you can probably guess the purposes of to each other...
