All I know is that their marketing has been focused on degeneracy, and it has validated my decision to wait for others to play it for me first. If I wanted a full degenerate D&D game, I'd just load up Skyrim with Loverslab's mods.

The thing I hate most about modern culture wars is doubling down on virtually everything. Like people already hate the game for "moral" bestiality, maybe don't advertise the fact that the devs burned thousands of hours implementing a feature that exists solely for trannies.

There was a recent interview with Swen and from what I understand, they asked him about the whole bear controversy. He told them this controversy got the studio nearly 1 million extra sales since it's debut.
Now, you can think there are 1 million extra trannies who bought the game or most realistic, is that as I and other people mentioned, this was nothing more then a marketing gimmick and got people talking and in the end this resulted in extra sales.
I'm not defending this practice, I'm just saying one should always look with a bit of cynicism as such things. A company wants to make money and if the customer base is receptive to certain stimuli, then you'll do that until you require a new approach.

From a recent interview, it seems we can re-spec all our companions, except race and sex. But narratively some companions will still keep their original class (i.e you can make Wyll a wizard, but the game story will treat him as a warlock). I think this is a good thing, yet, I will keep all the companions original classes, but I will change their dogshit stats and proficiencies.

My first playthrough:
Race: Human
Sex: Male
Class: Bard
Party: Karlach / Shadowheart / Laezel or Gale
Alignment: Lawful Evil or Chaotic Neutral.

No there is AO (adults only) but you have to do some really messed up stuff to get that rating. Also most places won't sell any games with a rating like that so it's really rare to see. There's no way BG3 gets a rating like that.

As for saves, from another BG3 playthrough, sure. But BG1-2 would be a nightmare unless they use the same engine. Different save formats, etc.

A Drow Paladin is funny to think about, but a funnier option would have been a Tiefling Paladin who might constantly complain of itchy skin since his auras would conflict with his demonic heritage.

I am of the belief that archiving is usually best reserved for lolcows because they are prone to doing stupid shit then later regret it and try to cover it.
In this case, it was an interview with some r*ddit dweebs that asked Swen basic questions regarding game mechanics and small spoilers. Why would I archive nerd talk that would be made irrelevant in a couple of days, with the game's release? Seems like a waste of time and space, and honestly, it makes me think you're kind of dumb for asking it.
Anyway, I haven't listened to that myself, I just got the bullet points from the larian forums.

But, unless they changed more from Early Access, I found the models for Shadowheart and Karlach to have attractive facial features. Minthara is fine I guess, not ugly, not gorgeous. Laezel is basically ayy lmao so if you find her ugly, I'm not gonna argue since she's whatever to me as far as attractiveness goes.
When it's out, get the GoG pirated version and check yourself. If I'm wrong, do feel free to call me a nigger faggot.
