Troons are infesting a sub which is essentially a child abuse healing support group. That is really unfortunate to hear; RBN is one of the few subs I DON'T have a problem with. And now troons are invading it to cry about imaginary slights their HRT-addled minds make up due to paranoid ideation. And they are hijacking a support group sub meant for people abused as children to jam their horrendous fetishes in people's faces even more. It makes me sick.

Why would you not have a problem with that sub? It's 99% made up just like most of reddit and the rest is just entitled children, and leftists (what's the difference) complaining because their parents won't do exactly what they want every minute of every day. It's a glaring mirror of narcissists thinking other people are narcissists because they are mentally ill.

Well based on this, I doubt you've known someone who has been abused in childhood or have gone through it yourself. Only someone who has been through this or knows someone who has knows what living hell an abusive narcissistic parent turns their child's life into. Narcissism communities on various sites are fairly big for a reason; if this issue was easily fixable, communities like this wouldn't be so big, and common terminology (no contact, grey rock method, hoovering, etc.) wouldn't be as widespread if it wasn't a serious problem.

I'm not talking about troons who THINK they have an abusive parent because they won't put up with their gender reassignment nonsense - I am talking about serious ramifications someone deals with throughout their life because of being raised by someone with a Cluster B personality disorder. ACTUAL abuse, sadly, is common, and not everyone in these communities is someone whining because of ONE spat they had with their parents when they were a preteen. In my time reading up on these communities, I have read and heard about physical abuse, sexual abuse, stalking, names being forged on bank and legal paperwork, and various other kinds of maltreatment. If I think hard enough, I can probably think of one or two times when someone on RBN or a similar community may have been overplaying a story, but I have never seen someone in them say something like "My mommy didn't buy me the right color Honda" or "I didn't get a cookie".

What I am saying is that a vanishingly negligible proportion of the stories on raised by narcissists are true, and the ones that might be are by people who need just as much help as their parents. The people actually dealing with these things are dealing with it either alone (or with a partner) and quietly, or with the help of a qualified therapist. maybe if it is a one off post on there it could be actual people seeking advice but like most of reddit the rest of it is creative writing exercises or people just as mentally ill as their parents. I sympathize with people dealing with parents who are crazy but anyone who is serious about getting help and getting past it doesn't go to reddit.

Okay, I understand where you're coming from. Apologies if I came off a little hostile. Still I don't really take issues with people in narc communities seeking help to move on from abuse in childhood or the like. Seems like troons have taken over narcissism terms and are using them improperly.

You’re good man I was just thinking you’re not totally wrong maybe just a little optimistic. I would say the troons adopting the psych terms for their own advantage is just a symptom of society not really taking psych seriously because it’s always been kind of a joke and just when it had a chance to get serious it got co-opted by clown world and now words have no meaning anymore. If raised by narcissists has helped people then that’s great and more power to them.
narcissists is a hard word to type correctly when you are drunk

He was actually a really nice guy off the clock, he just got paid to be an asshole.

I'm guessing giving me shit about resting hands on apron was meant to be "tough talk" because he was nice to me through all the other training.

Point of order, the two people he called ass pickers were immediately dismissed. There was just a lot of flour on pants in the training class. Mostly it was by pockets. I don't want people thinking ALL food service workers are ass pickers.

Weirdly enough, my training for a supermarket deli was more comprehensive than any other jobs I've had, food service or otherwise. A lot of the time training is waved off so that they can slot me into work immediately, and I gotta admit, I resent it.

If I could have gone into other jobs with that level of training and confidence, I probably wouldn't have hopped out of jobs so often.

I had less training when I was driving a tractor or working asphalt, which were both FAR more dangerous than serving up sandwiches. And the deli was the only one where I had union representation.

Never found myself one of those no show jobs either.

I'm not being *completely* serious about this, but you must realize that vegan people are the actual minority and that the majority of the planet are meat eaters, who never change because they are in one of the 2 groups I described. I guarantee you most humans in Pakistan or South Africa or Brazil or any other country on this planet know that there are alternatives to meat but they're too cowardly to change, or they don't give a damn. The majority of humans are the problem here, not the minority that are vegans.

I used the word nazi because in reality, humans are far less numerous than the animals that are confined, tortured, beaten, raped, and then slaughtered so yes, if we want to make a comparison, yes meat eaters are doing something MUCH worse, especially those that work in slaughterhouses or on factory farms."

Brother you know why I bought a 300 win mag to hunt with? So the deer or elk or moose doesn't suffer. A 180- 220 grain expanding slug through a Buck's lungs is way better than a cow or pig in a slaughterhouse fed by FARM grown feed. But you would say I'm cruel for buying overkill for the deer. No. You're cruel for encouraging the Irish government to genocide its cow population.
