Only time will tell. All I know is that woke culture is surprisingly on the way out, but nobody knows when it will die. Culture and politics change overtime, like for how the 90s and 2000s both changed the worldly landscape after the Cold War, despite stuff like LA riots, Waco, Oklahoma City, Columbine, 9/11, 7/7, late-2000s recession, etc. have happened afterwards.
I think it will happen in different segments of society at different speeds. For instance, I expect elite institutions to keep pushing this shit long after it has fallen out of public favor elsewhere, and even then, you'll just end up with things like universities being the same commie-infested shitholes they were in the '80s but maybe backing off with the censorious bullshit (conveniently when they are about to be on the receiving end of it).

SCOTUS is now definitely more conservative and you should expect more rulings along the lines of the recent AA decision, possibly for decades to come. As wokeism has resulted in Democrats being useless and even more completely out of touch with normal people than ever before, they'll eventually have to ditch it or fade into irrelevance, possibly even fragmenting in another political realignment much as happened in the '30s and the '60s.

I mean seriously, why!?!?!
Honestly, between a new Mortal Kombat 1 that no one really can understand even with the lore and the fact that WB mishandled the 2020 Animaniacs reboot, I’m not too sure if I can still be shocked by this.

Early MK games at least had Johnny Cage acting with some self-dignity.

Well this is WB we're talking about. They know what IP they should fuck up. DC is pretty obvious, Velma came out this year, Animaniacs 2020 is still on the air, and the MK has gotten worse

The Patrick Star Show was a mistake...
don't kill me for saying this....but that was actually a spot-on parody of online "review" shows. It'd be more novel if Gumball didn't get there first:

also, Uncle Al did the Patrick Show better:

Crossing posting from the Disney thread:

I don't know if anyone has mentioned this yet, but Elemental made 300 dollars at the box office, which is okay it is certainly not a bigger box office than Sound of Freedom but at least it made more money than Ruby Gilliam: Teenage Kracken. Don't believe me here is proof from LS Mark:

(I know it is a youtube short and LS Mark is not liked by some Kiwi's but still).

PSS may be a shameless cashin on more Spongebob products, but this one may honestly be a diamond in the rough. Made me laugh over how stupid and overthetop it is with Bubblebass as Doug fucking Walker.

The Patrick Star Show was a mistake...
All the SpongeBob shows are an insult at this point.

Kamp Koral has 2005-tier CGI (it looks as bad as Jimmy Neutron, a nearly 20-year-old show, does), Hillenburg never wanted the characters to be de-aged like that, and it contradicts key episodes from the very first season of SpongeBob where SpongeBob first meets Sandy and Plankton.
Patrick Star Show is like a combination of Seasons 6-8 and Season 10+ of the main show, where it combines awful gross-out humor of 6-8 with the ADHD writing and animation of 10+, and makes the character models even more grotesque and off-putting.
And as for the main SpongeBob show, Season 10 onward are just ADHD writing and animation with no thought or cleverness involved. It's gone from a show with jokes for 8+ year old kids to a show parents can dump their toddler in front of to keep their interest while they go get high. And to make things worse, with Season 13, the show is introducing elements from Kamp Koral and Patrick Star into the main series, just to really spit on Hillenburg's grave and contradict the old episodes.

He's dressed like Nostalgia Critic, but it feels more like a Mr Enter parody. Wasn't he infamous for shitting on specific writers and calling on them to be fired?
He's done a lot more embarrassing stuff. One of the more recent ones would be last year with his Turning Red review and how he expected a movie that takes place in the early-2000s should reference 9/11 and I actually do agree with him on this

You're being ridiculous. The movies being safe is the point. Parents can let their kids watch these shows knowing that they will be entertained but won't get any weird ideas about sexuality or race
Hm? What would I rather take my impressionable young son or daughter to? Disney has a film out starring a black queer teenage man in a biracial relationship where the message is that white men should step aside and the youth should question and despise the adults above them. There is also a transsexual who tells everyone it is okay to be whatever gender you want.

Illumination has a film about a guy with quirky little yellow sidekicks.

Yeah I guess the latter will do.

And said quirky little yellow sidekicks have two movies of their own. And it's safe to say that despite the quality of those movies, Illumination still does well, and it's all because of not only marketing, but also they're not politically woke.
