I don't think it was meant as a pass/fail task, it was more to make the trainees realize how much they touch things and learn about cross contamination. The ass pickers failed because no one in food service wants to hire an ass picker.

Theres a difference between commercial farming and small scale home garden farms (or urban farms). I think a long time people just had small gardens and someone would be like 'Well I have like 6 chickens, they lay eggs, Ill trade for your like bushel of zucchini, Marys got some tomatoes' whatever, shit like that.

It could be rage bait, but there are definitely women who would actually do this. Even in church groups I've been in (in a conservative area mind you) married women would discuss intimate details of their sex lives in front of everyone without their husbands's permission

Has this retard never heard about diseases transmitted via the fecal-oral route? It's a huge amount of diseases of all different classes: parasites (lots of worms), bacteria (anything that gives you diarrhea), and viruses (ever heard of that old poliovirus?) all use it! There's an obvious evolutionary reason that we find shit and the place it comes from gross; there be potential diseases in there mate! It's a big reason why we chlorinate pools: because people kept getting fucking crippled from polio. I get legit MATI at this level of ignorance speaking as an authority.

Somewhat related aside: As someone who has read lots of microbiome papers... wow. There's huge differences between the microbiome of the vagina and the anus (obviously). There was a fun animation one of my professors showed of an infant that had been birthed vaginally, because of this the intestinal microbiome was initially mostly populated by the vaginal microbiome population of the mother, which is completely normal. They did a timelapse of how the infant's fecal microbiome slowly migrates from being basically similar to the vaginal microbiome to a relatively normal intestinal/fecal microbiome over the course of weeks. Even with all the tissue differences and std rates aside, these are very different areas of the body medically speaking. It's not fucking the same thing
