GamerGate was pretty much destined to be dead after no time flat.

The people that genuinely cared about the "ethics in game journalism" ( ) part have long since abandoned ship. The ones that pretend they are still inetrested in the ethics stuff are really only there because GamerGate has somehow grafted themselves to their lives and they're fine with that but aren't actively doing anything in the "movement".
