That was one of the many things that took a lot of the wind out of the sails of #MeToo: these used up actresses like Rose McGowan and Asia Argento were so fucked up that they quickly became unsympathetic. Harvey Weinstein got fucked because he was on a losing end of the power struggle but many others who still made money at the box office were eventually let back in like Ben Affleck. McGowan was known as nothing more than a fuck doll all of her career but started whining when she aged out of that role. It got her a few weeks of attention but she was too untalented and insane to parlay that into anything. Not surprised she’d run to another country in hopes of being a bigger fish in a smaller pond. She’ll probably end up buying drugs from the wrong vato and end up getting got by a cartel once they find out she has no money and nobody willing to pay a ransom. Even the luxury tourist spots are teeming with cartel activity.

Some people think that #metoo was actually the smokescreen story. To suppress the more serious story of Asia Argento grooming that boy she casted from age 12. Which would've opened up the Pedowood floodgates.

to be fair, rose mcgowan kept at it to the point even namedropping tara reade, when everybody conveniently moved on and suddenly forgot all about it, like alyssa milano for example. maybe she made too much noise before so they didn't drop her a bone to shut her up, who knows.

Actors are truly the stupidest people alive. and people wonder why the romans and english had such disdain for them and kept them on the fringes of society. They had the right idea and did it for good reason
