Yeah, not only that but later he gives Ron's brother the millions of dollars in gold he wins for doing a batshit insane tournament that got his friend killed so that they could successfully start their business. As somebody who's burned through millions and ran many businesses into the ground after they were handed to him, Wu probably finds this very triggering.

She doesn't actually read anything. She's been on record many times about how shit the printed word is and how much better audiobooks are.
