Russian Special Military Operation in the Ukraine - Mark IV: The Partitioning of Discussion

yeah one funny thing I remember hearing about is how russians get weirded out by how much americans are always smiling. Its an example of culture clash because in russia always smiling like that means you may be up to something and is regarded as suspicious, while always having a neutral or dour face here in the states makes people think you're always angry (resting bitch face). I empathize more with the russian way of thinking on this tbh
But are they wrong? Always online social media is the tech extension of the eternal smile.

I imagine the guys who fought in various Jungle campaigns throughout history are looking down from heaven in digust right now.
Shrubs?

Winter: "We cannot start counteroffencive properly, it's too cold!"
Spring: "We cannot start counteroffencive properly, it's too muddy!"
Summer: "We cannot start counteroffencive properly, it's too much shrubs!"
The use of the Fellas as mascots seems fitting now

"plamnt too high" :(

Yeah, I can confirm this. People who always smile turn me off severely, they feel false and untrustworthy or even unpleasant. I’m not sure that’s only Russians and yanks though, I’ve seen the same attitude from Germans towards Swedes for example.
Huh. I can understand a smile that show's your teeth but what about with just lips?

It's not looking good for Zelensky Ive seen more then one media article hyping up the possibility he'll be assassinated. The U.S is likely going to kill him. He's a liability in more ways then one.

I dont think he's completely a puppet or a lord. He's an arrogant toad in the middle of the road. He does whatever he needs to do to stay alive and pulls what little weight he has whenever he gets the opportunity to boss people around.

British intelligence reports that Ukrainian counteroffensive has stalled due to shrubbery. Guess NATO training does not cover fighting in an environment with weeds and shrubs.

They also aren't repainting the shit we're giving them. Pretty funny. The M81 woodland/pure green stuff hides so perfectly but then there's a bright ass desert tan vehicle or piece of equipment giving away their hidey hole in the tree line.

It's very easy to trade a bucket of paint for a bottle of homemade vodka in those parts. That's why they're not being given paint anymore.

They didn't mix that primer first, so all that top coat went to waste. They gotta take those vehicles back for proper maintenance.

I don't think I've seen these drone footage posted here kinda old but w/e
Most people obviously did not catch what makes this footage interesting... the video feed is analog. This is the kind of stuff they broadcasted up until the 2000s. I suspect that the drone operators were complaining about the digital feed cutting out at times screwing up the "landing" glide so they switched to analog which just gets fuzzy like this if the feed is weak. The original Predator drones the US used in the 1990s also used such unencrypted video feeds because they travel over long distances better, the Taliban used to watch the video feeds of the Predator drones using what was effectively RTL-SDR devices. Predator drones used a laser uplink to a satellite to issue commands if I remember correctly, but the video feed was basically publicly accessible.

Patrick Lancaster video featuring Ukrainian tanks "donated" to Russia being used against Ukrainian forces. Just had to paint over the German crosses and hose off the interior, and the tanks are good to go.

The Romanian MoD is investigating reports that alleged Russian drone remnants fell on its territory following an attack on port facilities in the Odessa region.

For the moment, Bucharest has not found any "concrete element" to prove the accusations.
That can't be true, gypsies would've stolen that drone before it even fell to the ground. Have they checked the local pawn shops or places where they buy copper?

I was speaking theoretically. 🤷‍♂️ I have no doubt you'd wind up on somebody's list, magically find yourself unbankable, unemployable and reduced to living in a van down by the river.

And I'll be quite honest, I'm hardly the biggest fan of the Putin regime. I have zero interest in putting my life on the line to defend it. It is just that I am less of a fan of the forces lined up in opposition.
My bad, I was using "you" in the plural

How that autist manages to stay alive is rather impressive. If anything he seems to be pushing it more and more as time goes on, so I guess his final fate is still to be determined. I'm guessing the Russians do everything in their power to protect him, so there is that.

Also, a glowieop to punch his ticket upon his return to the USA is nothing to worry about and is a paranoid delusion on my part, right? Right?

After being embedded with the Russian army I doubt they'll even let him back. But yeah, it's in Russia's best interests to keep him alive so his handlers keep him from going anywhere really dangerous.
