Jim complaining about things people never heard of is nothing new. Dood will complain about 4chan being upset over a black woman in an indie game no one has ever heard of while showing no evidence that said racism even exists. I also don't think he doesn't enjoy being happy so much as he loves attention.

I think if you end it with "rip TB / lol Jim is a fat loser" you could post how your neighbor washes his car and no one would be terribly upset. Will be more interesting than the Jimquisition is these days, and about as focused on gaming.

Theyre gonna close by the end of 23 maybe early 24, theyre literally begging for money on the street corner at this point. They tried memberships, they tried patreon, they tried all the sponsorship crap, they get like 10k views max for every non ZP shit. I guess this is the death of gaming journalism except when Soros pays to keep Kotaku afloat like he did with Vice. Kotaku and TheGamer are literally training schools for Bloomberg, Vice, NYT and Vox at this point.

Maybe try making a thread under Proving Grounds but I don't think there's enough interest in Escapist to get it out of there.

Which is part of the reason they're shilling so hard for donations now.

Main issue with The Escapist is that they are ludicrously boring. Like, their entire channel is explaining annoying or predatory game design and monetization targeted at hard-core enthusiasts who are already well aware of those issues. So at the end if the day it just feels like preaching to the choir. I watched a couple of their non-yahtz videos and just thought they were incredibly pointless.
