But they take up so little space. They're there but they weren't the main story or complete selling point. Like I said, you could put a "technically it's eroge" but saying it's "just EROGE with a capital E" kind of puts it in a box that it's not completely trying to be in. It's like saying putting Re:Zero in ecchi because there's a lot of stuff the adaption leaves out. Does it technically out? Yes. But is that it's main appeal or what it should be completely labeled as? Is it really in the same category as Shimoneta or Monogatari?The original Fate/Stay Night was a eroge because it contained pornographic sex scenes
But originals were definitely eroge, and I wouldn't recommend them to somebody not interested in pornographic sex between teenagers.
Plus I don't think a non-coomer would really be attracted to any VN in the first place.
