You're correct, limb lenghthening surgery is a thing: Link.. As a personlet I think that's ridiculous and it looks unnatural but some men want it desperately. Plus, I believe the same(?) technique is used to help people who have one limb much shorter than the other, which is far more necessary surgery.

I'm not a medkiwi but I don't see height reduction surgery happening any time soon because you can't just take away, say, a piece of bones in the legs without making the patient look very odd. Unless you take away a ton of tiny pieces in different places, but that sounds like a recipe for disaster. Besides, trans girls can just get HRT so their spine collapses in on itself and gives them a dainty ladyhump

Spoiler: Dilation recommendations 9 months post op but have hard time having sex

9 months post op. Satisfied with the look but recently it’s been hard to dilate with the green rigid soul source dilator. My doctor stated I have scar tissue that he treated with kenalog injections but it feels so tight when I dilate and sex isn’t enjoyable.

Nope, it's 100% a thing. They break your legs to lengthen them. The difference is it started with an actual clinical use- midgets or people with deformed legs where the shortness caused actual pain and complications walking.
The process is horrifying though. They rebreak them every few months, sometimes for years, until the desired result happens.

With the limb lengthening. IIRC, they break the bone and use a cage around your leg to force the bone ends apart,so new bones grow to fill the hole. I think it's a screw, so they don't break the bone continually, it's pulled apart slowly week by week as the new bone grows...
