And they were also able to grift tens of thousands of dollars while doing fuck all except abusing animals and each other.

All I'm saying is this is the most lucrative genocide since a certain chosen people managed to pivot their mass murder into a get-out-of-responsibility-for-absolutely-anything-ever-for-the-rest-of-time-free card.

I'm not disagreeing with you. It's the most privileged "genocide" I've ever heard of, with almost no deaths in the western world that weren't due to surgery complications from becoming a gender homunculus, or suicide because trying to appease their gender dysmorphia didn't actually fix their sadbrains or just made it worse.
 
Not to make this all about me, but would anyone be against the Next Jimless Jimqusition being about Jim Sterling himself? Particularly why LGTB folks don't seem to care about watching Jim Sterling dress up like a used condom and bounce waddle attempt to move around on screen talking about random nonsense?
 
@p1138 yeah I wasn't having a go at you or anything, I was just saying there's a pattern here where all the people shouting loudest about genocide are making serious bank. Keffals and Erin Reed also spring to mind (don't know how much money Big Tony makes, but he doesn't seem to do anything else to pay the bills).

I am convinced that Jim wants his channel to fail because finding things to really bitch about are hard to find for the fat veal. He puts little effort to save his channel but pulls out all the bells and whistle for the subscribers specials. I don't think he likes being happy.

Jim complaining about things people never heard of is nothing new. Dood will complain about 4chan being upset over a black woman in an indie game no one has ever heard of while showing no evidence that said racism even exists. I also don't think he doesn't enjoy being happy so much as he loves attention.

I think if you end it with "rip TB / lol Jim is a fat loser" you could post how your neighbor washes his car and no one would be terribly upset. Will be more interesting than the Jimquisition is these days, and about as focused on gaming.

Theyre gonna close by the end of 23 maybe early 24, theyre literally begging for money on the street corner at this point. They tried memberships, they tried patreon, they tried all the sponsorship crap, they get like 10k views max for every non ZP shit. I guess this is the death of gaming journalism except when Soros pays to keep Kotaku afloat like he did with Vice. Kotaku and TheGamer are literally training schools for Bloomberg, Vice, NYT and Vox at this point.

That's pretty rich coming from Jim, who puts pointless and flat sexual jokes and references in everything. Not funny ones, more desperate in the sense of "I have sex, honest!" and "I know about sex from experience and are not just a queer porn coomer like most troons".
It is also eerily similar to a stance I heard from american feminist prudes before, who call all heterosexual content in media "juvenile" never understood that.

Maybe try making a thread under Proving Grounds but I don't think there's enough interest in Escapist to get it out of there.

Which is part of the reason they're shilling so hard for donations now.
 
Main issue with The Escapist is that they are ludicrously boring. Like, their entire channel is explaining annoying or predatory game design and monetization targeted at hard-core enthusiasts who are already well aware of those issues. So at the end if the day it just feels like preaching to the choir. I watched a couple of their non-yahtz videos and just thought they were incredibly pointless.

Yahtzee can carry a website on his own but the rest of it won't grow if the people around him aren't interesting. It's what killed the Escapist the first time. Once LRR left it turned into Yahtzee carrying a bunch of lolcows.
