Honestly, with how things are going in the White Collar field, I wouldn't recommend anyone getting into it now. Nevermind the office politics that go on in there are enough to drive anyone insane, such as...

• Favoritism. It's not whether or not you do a good job, but who in power decides to like you
• Office jobs that have so many fucking supervisors that they overlap with each other. You get told to do one thing by one person, then a different thing by another person, then get yelled at by the first person.
• Department competition. Suzy from accounting will have a grudge with Carol from sales because of some dumb bullshit reason.
• IT not being able to do their job properly because the CEO wants things a specific way that impedes progress and growth, which winds up having the IT department get blamed for easily fixable bullshit that's not their fault.

But the hiring process is so fucking strung-out and ridiculous, especially if you're going through a temp agency, which is 90% of the time. Often times you'll have your time wasted for a position that you most likely won't get because even though you have the credentials, you just "don't fit in" with everyone else.

I think this is the major problem with expecting people to stand forward. Those who would and shall want to make sure they have cover with others in their midst. A lot of would be actors are not going to do so if the rest of the country throws them under the bus right after demonizing them and pretending to be the bigger man. Easiest example is Covid, or even January 6th how many republicans attacked those saying Jan 6th actors (if they had been non-feds) should have went even further were called extremist by even non-democrats/pro-conservative voices that aren't the elites? A large amount from what I saw and experienced from being one of those people attacked for saying it.

To be honest I think if there is going to be a big change in America, it is going to come from Black people. White people are (rightfully) very worried about the consequences of their actions, "If I fail at this point, I will go to jail for the rest of my life and what'll happen to my family, who'll look after them, I need to stay in line to protect those around me", these are their thoughts. While Black people have a unique advantage in the revolution department. Those of you familiar with the "15 Second Nigger" should understand it, since Black people cannot physically face the consequences of their actions, it is much more likely for them to shoot up politicians and tycoons.

If I were an accelerationist, I would try to make Black people as angry with them as possible, that might honestly be the most realistic way to force change on America rather than any legitimate process.
