Someone is inflating the numbers rather horrifically. If there's only 3 people ready to answer calls in evidence then it's obvious they don't have 500 trained volunteers.
Assuming two shifts for volunteers at 500 as a potential labour force you should easily have 35 people available for one shift across all 7 days. Which at 200-odd calls a day is... frankly piss easy to deal with.
Translife, according to Greta's (likely bogus) calls deals with just 73,000 calls per year at an absolute total maximum of 200 calls per day every day (of which they answer just 40). This is unlikely to be accurate and there's going to be ebbs and flows throughout. It's entirely possible some days they have just a handful of calls if any on some days before an upswing for the weekends as people have a few too many drinks and get all mopey.
But then, note the discrepancy. There should be 35 volunteers available, they answer just 40 calls? The Average should be 3 calls per volunteer per shift at the max of Greta's claims.
40 calls if its just you and your two friends however and you can struggle to answer 40 calls, let alone 200+.
In the UK, the Samaritans deal with a staggering 5,100,000 pieces of correspondence in 2014 in comparison. Averaging 13,972 pieces of correspondence per day. They do this with 21,200 volunteers. An average of 240 pieces of correspondence per day per volunteer. Frankly, this is staggering and you should damn well donate to them to help out where you can.
So, when you factor in these basic dependencies it's pretty obvious that Trans lifeline is being used as basically as a front and to virtue signal for an insane armed troon who is using it for personal gain.
