And believe it or not, there are people out there who like Touhou for the games first and foremost. The games are fun, the music's great, the stories and lore are interesting, and the character designs are top-notch, even if the artwork is sometimes hampered by ZUN's artstyle.
Also, in a series of over 150 characters, I find it interesting that of all the characters in the series, Hector fixates on
Cirno, a fairy with a child-like personality and the intelligence of a third grader, and
Flandre Scarlet, a ~500-year-old vampire autist. Like, there are so many legal characters with a wide-variety of body types, from your ironing boards like Reimu, Marisa, or Youmu, to characters with average busts like Sakuya, Alice, or Reisen, to absolute MILFs like Yukari, Ran, or Junko, yet Hector chose the two of the most child-like characters in both body and personality to pick from that are only legal in the sense that they're fantasy characters that are hundreds of years old.
Call it a hunch, but I don't think Hector's into Touhou for the games...
