Always have.

Should have just told him to buy an Alcest album and a bottle of his favourite happy pills instead of trying to argue.
But where's the fun in that? Can't catch him sperging if he goes away lol.
Alcest isn't even good. Out of all the songs to go with that hoax Google doc picked this gay French song for some reason.
Never even heard of this French song, personally would just have recommended some really edgy Lincoln Park

That must be why I didn't get an autistic DM defending pedophilia like the rest of you did, despite saying that someone needs to check his hard drive.
It's the main correlation I can think of. Believe it or not, many people watch anime for other shit than Loli. Like over the top fights, story, and hot legal women. He... doesn't seem to get that and is trying to appeal to his "kindred" spirits, when we want nothing to do with him.

A character. You can claim a character is anything. Konata Izumi is canonically 18. Yoko Littner was canonically 14. I know which of the 2 a wannabe pedophile-slayer like you would claim is "a child" if both were drawn on-model without clothes on a piece of paper. Getting kicked out of Poast really mindfucked a lot of you.
I can't help but notice that representational art suddenly ceases to have any semblance of, (veri)similitude with, or relation to reality once it comes time for a lolicon-defender to defend his paraphiliac fetish.

@Nanashi no kiwi

Don’t Japs also use chopsticks to pick the surviving bone shards into the urn? Like the family comes in and scoops up the remains sometimes in a little ritual.

I don’t know if they allow it for suicide, but it’s another question.
They do - It's called honeage (骨上げ). Typically, two mourners will pick up a bone together, working in pairs starting with those closed to the deceased, since the larger ones are generally too heavy for one person to lift alone. It might seem a bit morbid if you're not used to the idea, but in Japan it's viewed as a way of saying one's final goodbyes to the deceased.

Incidentally, it's taboo in Japan to pass pieces of food from one person's chopsticks to another's because it's reminiscent of this custom.

Yeah, it adds further questions to the Byuu death idea. Because for all anyone knew Byuu was a software developing in Japan living alone.

I’m not sure what the custom is for everywhere in the world, but I’ve had friends who had family die overseas some alone and some while with family. Usually your family will contact a state rep/ governor or someone within get expat community will to try to ship your corpse back home by talking to someone.
I’ve never heard of some nigga just getting cremated, I’ve heard of state reps working with Brazilians, Chinese, German, and Nigerian authorities to ship a corpse back home. In a lot of cases local police notify a bigger politician.

We need more who watch it for wow cool robots and stay for the usually good political stories ngl.

I have been doing some stylometry analysis on Hector's and his company's posts recently. The aim is to find out who wrote the google document.
Here are some more blogposts from Marcan.

What writings from Byuu/Near do you have? If you don't already have them, his articles on Byuu.org seem like they'll be useful. You'll have to trawl through the archives though.
Some Ars Technica & Medium articles written by Byuu:

Unrelated to the authorship of the Google doc, but I bet the writing style of Marcan's weeb twitter alt (@mrcn495) is practically identical to Asahi Lina's. Even without doing a fancy analysis, it's obvious that they both love using excessive exclamation marks and sparkle emojis ! ! ! ! ✨✨
Only problem might be that mrcn495 exclusively writes in Japanese, while Lina only does so occasionally.
It's not really necessary to do this analysis though, considering how there's already an overwhelming amount of evidence that Marcan is Lina.

I have it on good authority that when Schrödinger wanted to do the experiment with his cat, by complete accident Byuu ended up inside the box instead. The contents of the box have yet to be observed, putting Byuu in a superposition of being alive and being dead. Right now, the box is being heavily patrolled by Hector Martin and his cohorts
It’s clearly a case of Schrödinger’s Troon.

And believe it or not, there are people out there who like Touhou for the games first and foremost. The games are fun, the music's great, the stories and lore are interesting, and the character designs are top-notch, even if the artwork is sometimes hampered by ZUN's artstyle.

Also, in a series of over 150 characters, I find it interesting that of all the characters in the series, Hector fixates on Cirno, a fairy with a child-like personality and the intelligence of a third grader, and Flandre Scarlet, a ~500-year-old vampire autist. Like, there are so many legal characters with a wide-variety of body types, from your ironing boards like Reimu, Marisa, or Youmu, to characters with average busts like Sakuya, Alice, or Reisen, to absolute MILFs like Yukari, Ran, or Junko, yet Hector chose the two of the most child-like characters in both body and personality to pick from that are only legal in the sense that they're fantasy characters that are hundreds of years old.

Call it a hunch, but I don't think Hector's into Touhou for the games...

Are there any native speakers of Japanese here? If he's writing in a foreign language, there's bound to be the same grammatical mistake he makes on both accounts. Particularly for a language as difficult as Japanese.

I can't go into details without major PL, but I have experience dealing with this. The decision of what to do with someone's remains is generally left up to the next of kin, if they can be contacted. It's actually pretty expensive to repatriate a body - $5000 to $6000 at the very least, up to as much as $20,000 once you factor in embalming costs, storage, transportation, etc. etc. And that's separate from any funeral expenses after the body has been repatriated. Also, the embassy may provide assistance in making the arrangements, but any monetary costs are on you. Meanwhile, the cost of transporting cremated remains is only a few hundred dollars. So it's not at all uncommon for people simply to opt for a local cremation unless they're insistent on having the actual body for religious purposes or something.

Sometimes it's not even about the money; the next of kin simply aren't concerned enough about having the actual body repatriated that they're willing to deal with all the bureaucracy and potential expenses, especially if the deceased had previously indicated they wanted to be cremated anyway. This is the choice the next of kin opted for in the situation I was involved in.

In Japan, at least, if no next of kin can be located, the local government has the body cremated, holds onto the remains for a set length of time, and buries them in the local common grave if the next of kin can't be located or refuse to take possession of the remains, though this probably isn't relevant to Byuu's hypothetical case since his employer would have had his personal information, including designated next of kin for insurance purposes.

Very interesting indeed how people like Hector go through massive casts of video games, and instead of choosing any of the normal characters to call hot, he goes for the kiddies. He's the reason anime has a bad name. You can choose so many women to call a waifu, but you go for Lolis and try justifying it like you had no other choice, which is bullshit.

Late, but isn't this the same slippery slope argument of "uh she's actually a 300000 year old vampire br0"? If the author says she's an older woman with an uncannily childlike appearance makes little difference because the subtext remains the same: it is fetishisation of an underage-appearing character, and no, it being a fictitious character doesn't make it any better. Back to p*ast you go, Graph.

I actually did do a little expansion on how we know about Byuu faking his death/Martin killing him on Wikipedia via the Higan page (though written in a anti-KF manner to please the Wikipedo overlords).
