Good evening Furpocalypse hotel booker,
We regret to inform you that your hotel reservation for Furpocalypse 2023 has been canceled in the main hotel due to errors in the booking process. The number of bookings allowed exceeded the number of rooms available, therefore there are a number of reservations that must be refunded. The hotel will be reaching out to confirm your cancellation in the next day or two. We understand how frustrating this is.
We have worked with a partner hotel in Stamford to secure you a room and have your reservation transferred to The Stamford Hotel located at 700 E Main St, Stamford, CT 06901. We have negotiated the same rate as you were paying at The Armon and have the parking fee of $10 a day covered by the convention.
Furpocalypse has also contracted with an executive shuttle service to ferry any attendee or their guests to and from the overflow hotel at no cost to you. This shuttle will be a fursuit-friendly walk on style bus.
This shuttle will tentatively run:
Thursday 3pm-11pm
Friday 9am -2am
Saturday 9am -2am
Sunday 9am - 6pm
In addition, Furpocalypse would like to extend you a complimentary basic registration for this year. If you have already booked we will refund you the cost of basic registration. If you have booked at a sponsor level or above we will refund you the cost of basic reg against your higher tier. If you have not registered for the convention yet, we will send you a coupon code for free basic registration.
If you have already registered for the convention please reply to this email with your order number and we will work on processing your refund for complementary registration. If you have not registered please reply with your email address and we will send you a coupon code.
If you would like to cancel your hotel reservation altogether and not be booked into the overflow hotel please reach out to us and we will process your cancellation with the overflow hotel.
If you would like to defer your 2023 registration and have a credit applied to next year we will gladly accommodate your wish. You may also request a complete cancellation of your registration and a refund to your original payment method.
We have done everything possible on our end to make this right for you, our attendee, in hopes that you'll still join us for 2023. We were hoping that the booking process would have gone as smoothly as we expected but unfortunately it did not.
