I'm sick of you corrupting the youth with your trojan horse podcast 😡

Great episode as always, two things:

1) Josh is right that the national age of consent in Japan was 13 until very recently. However, prefectural laws supplement the national one, meaning in effect the actual age of consent is 16-20 (depending on prefecture).

2) The bossmanjack segments are absolutely hilarious, and are the pure embodiment of "WELL IF IT ISN'T THE CONSEQUENCES OF MY OWN ACTIONS". At least alcoholics and junkies have the physical addiction excuse, these gambling niggers have no one to blame but themselves.

Josh talked about a congress hearing with a troon complaining about extremism and a congresswoman showing him his own tweets which were calling for violence, etc. Does anyone have a link to the video?

ETA: @Bone Santa Japan never has and AFAIK still doesn't enforce shit if the kid is 8-ish or older. No matter the age, that country is still fucking obsessed with sweeping their shit under the rug for the sake of avoiding "embarrassment" and looking squeaky clean to all of us other dirty countries. It explains why their oragnized crime is treated the way it is, despite the horrific shit they do. They have spastic incels going on stabbing sprees in kindergartens, old folks' homes and potato farms regularly and put a tight lid on it. They have even fewer fucks to give about statutory rape, unless it's the literal kind of fucks going out to those little kids they sexually obsess over in just about every corner of their media. IIRC, the reason why they bothered with the federal AOC was that any time a victim's parents pushed and wouldn't stop pushing for justice, the pedophile rapist could often go the "lawful evil" rout by pointing to the federal AOC despite their province's laws and the government would call it a day because they'll accept any excuse to drop charges if the victim is a filthy commoner. Good God, that shithole's track record of getting rape charges dropped just because the victim was "of age", as if that's all that fucking matters, is vile.

In regards to the guy mentioning call-ins I don’t really see the point in bringing them back. I’ve watched a handful of old person streams and each time call ins would happen I would just skip them. They were even more useless than the superchats. It would probably just be sperglords making unfunny jokes and parasocial freaks asking for advice (which is basically what the superchat already are). If you really wanted to milk the paypigs you could charge money but otherwise I don’t see any benefit to them.

RIP kiwifarms.powerlevel, 2023-2023. Long live kiwifarms.sexuallytransmitted!

Regarding call-ins, for the love of god please don't let random retards shit up the stream. Hearing that level of concentrated autism makes me embarrassed to be a kiwi. Josh should pick mods or specific users that he finds interesting and talk to them about their favorite cows like he did in certain person streams. That would eliminate the worst of the spergery (:optimistic:) and we'd get to enjoy the dawning horror in Jersh's voice as he learns fun new facts about unfamiliar cows. Maybe pick some OPs from the Prospering Grounds and let them explain their pet tards.

Please prescreen everyone to make sure they aren't mushmouthed retards, because we only have room for one of those in our hearts. ❤️

i like call ins segments but sparingly. sometimes the callers have good insights but, most times, the callers sucks. the most callers either are ass kissers or really have nothing interesting to say. the host could simple hang up on the trolls (hanging up on people can be funny, if done correctly).

from memory, out of all the call ins from the mati streams, overmom was a good call in, give her the d was a good call in. i don't count ezpz as a call in. i think that was it. everyone else was not memorable.

The only one I remember was the ortismo that chased a woman off the internet for crowdfunding a streaming PC and then not doing enough streaming. I found that one interesting because I thought she kinda deserved it - it seemed to be the inevitable result from grifting autistic incels online if you ask me, entirely predictable. Josh condemned him most decisively. I can't remember a single other call in because they were all even more cringe and gay than the one I've just described so I skipped them all. /edit - dude's name was Kenny I think.

Sure, it's just drawings, but do you want to associate with people who masturbate to drawings of children or stories about grooming children or having sex with children? Do you really think that says nothing about them? Do you really want those people to be in your community? Normalise these interests?

I wish someone'd challenge them on this, but I wouldn't expect it in the anime people community.
People don't want to associate with paedos. The problem you run into is people use that as a wedge to ban things and cancel people they dislike. eg. Painting anyone who plays the big titty sorcereress in Dragons Crown as a paedo because some half quarter sub atomic wit game journo was offended by it.
