This is what's always confused me about gamblers. They only register the wins. You'll hear them say "Yo I'm up 600 dollars!!!1!"

Yeah but overall you've lost THOUSANDS.

"Yeah but I just won 600"

Like is it delusional or selective memory or is the dopamine hit so high that the losses get deleted in their mind. I've seen in the thread that studies have shown winning and losing fire up the same parts of the brain in MRI's but is there a conscious decision to ignore the massive list of L's just for that rare occasion where they think they've beat the house/system?

Lol.
"Brb guys"

Translation "My coke guy just arrived and he's seen me win some cash"

Sooo he's getting two bag instead of one tonight

I've had the full vicarious Bossman experience tonight.

My first bet on when he'd lose his cash was a winner, the high was dizzying. I was on top of the world. I felt I could see the matrix and finally my luck was turning around

Should have quit while I was ahead.

My second bet that he'd lose his second stake within 15 minutes was wrong. Now it feels like I'm a complete loser and want to end the stream and wallow in self pitying despair. Maybe I should round off the night by shouting at a parent or punch the drywall.

I wonder if he would be like this with something fake like Salty Bet or if gambling addicts need actual stakes to get their fix.
