Which piece of media has single-handedly made the most amount of people to troon out?

Solution
“Single-handedley”. Lol. Lmao, even.

No single piece of media could convince someone to troon out. One piece or another could be a breaking point and finally “crack” the egg, but there are usually multiple red flags beforehand. I have thus compiled a chart of such red flags to assist you in your troon-avoiding journey.

This section is for media that troons are commonly seen enjoying, but either has too broad a fanbase to become a true troon flag or is a “fad” that troons once latched onto.

Sailor Moon or Ranma 1/2 maybe because of the whole transformation concept, or some Disney shit perhaps.

As if. Some anime promote masculinity and effectively are the anti-HRT of the media landscape. Hokuto no Ken ain't the same shit as your average yuri lolibait show that passes for anime nowaday, plus it's only Western shit that promotes trannies being heckin valid and not weird sex pests. At least Japan has enough sense to mock people that seriously think they were born the opposite sex.
It's physically impossible to like DBZ as a man and troon out or be gay.

I still don't even know what this is but even I know its the number 1 thing all people who troon for clout have in common.

Homestuck is an old webcomic from the early Tumblr era of the internet. I didn't read all of it but I liked what I read. its gimmick (like the other comics the guy did) was that it was done as an interactive CYOA comic, where you could post in his web forum to vote on what happened next, the cumulative effect of which caused the story to spiral out into bizarre places. I don't recall the writer himself ever being gross, but for some reason his community attracted some of the worst people on the internet, chronic tumblr posters etc, who are now all almost certainly trooned out and/or members of the 41% club. Homestuck porn/slashfic was one of the earlier Tumblr obsessions along with other cartoons from the era like Gravity Falls.

  • Undertale- a former tumblr favorite, the game has languished in popularity since its sequel released and is a shell of its former self. Was once a yellow-level threat mostly made dangerous by tumblr; is now more broadly remembered as a very influential indie rpg without the rightful stigma its fans once used to carry.
  • Animal Crossing- So insanely broad in audience that it can’t really be categorized, despite its known popularity amongst the Gendered. Was the shit for an entire year straight when the tragedy known as New Horizons won the release date lottery, has long fallen out of fashion. What remains of its fanbase is an intoxicated ruin of what once was, but it’s still mostly women and not specifically troons. Think of it like the Sims but without the maladaptive tumor known as its modding community.
  • Madoka Magica- Correct me on this if I’m wrong, but this used to be huge amongst the proto-troon Ramona Flowers type. I at least remember hearing about how cool and good it was nonstop when I hung out with that crowd a while ago. There’s also the obvious “cute thing turned DARK and EDGY” appeal that these people took to. I don’t hear much about it anymore, though…
  • Sailor Moon- Very close to being a yellow flag, but I just can’t bring myself to do that. It’s like the default “girl anime”. No matter how much troons try, I’m not sure they can associate themselves with it without being overwhelmed by the hoard of comparatively-normal women fawning over the show.
  • Kirby- Only dangerous due to the DARK and EDGY LORE about eldritch abominations and black holes that really shouldn’t be surprising considering who directs the series right now and Kirby’s country of origin. Otherwise way too fucking broad to stereotype, especially considering the audience is 60+% actual babies.
  • Most old Nicktoons/Cartoon Network shows- Special mention to Rocko’s Modern Life, which came back to life solely to make an hour-long special on trooning out an existing character. The fans of this stuff tend to be pretty autistic and sometimes gay, but they’re usually autistic in different ways than troons are. Regardless, a lot of these guys are fervent about defending trans rights, and I’ve seen a few transition eventually, so…?

Definite warning signs, but not worth excommunicating someone over. Keep your guard up if any of this shit is mentioned.

  • Sonic- It would’ve gone in Green had it not been fucking Sonic. I don’t understand why, but I have yet to see a single normal person enjoy any of this series. Quite possibly THE most autistic AAA video game franchise ever, an honor I do not bestow lightly, both in terms of its fans and its gameplay + premise. Red when combined with Pokémon.
  • Pokemon- In a similar situation. The series is so popular that it’s generally hard to stereotype… but its hardcore fans are not. There are typically three types of raging Pokémon autists (in this context), all of whom are concerning. They follow, in ascending levels of threat: the HARDCORE hardcore fan, who will argue about design aspects and Gamefreak’s decision-making (these guys come in both doomer and bootlicker varieties) and competitive and IVs and all that jazz until their dying breath; the hardcore COOMER, who’s often unabashedly in love with a fictional dog or pixie to the point of brainrot and is often spotted defending either fictional beastiality or pedophilia (this is the worst threat in general but lower in terms of troonery); and the hardcore CREATIVE TYPE, often seen making ROM Hacks or Essentials fangames/writing fanfic or making webcomics (or, god forbid, minecraft mods). None of these people are straight and you’ll be lucky if half of them aren’t troons.
  • Steven Universe- Losing popularity, but used to be a troon magnet. Anyone who still likes the show is often a troon or troon-adjacent. Creator is technically a troon. Unfortunately, the show lost popularity after a massive hiatus in the third season and kept bleeding fans after its trainwreck of a finale, so it’s barely a “thing” anymore. If you see it mentioned, though…
  • Star Vs. The Forces of Evil- see above, the situation is practically identical. Nefcy’s just a bitch though, not a troon.
  • Anime in general- Would be Green if not for the weebs. Even while it’s mainstream, anime fans still manage to be some of the worst people on the planet. Extremely broad, but under that broad umbrella is a looooooot of degeneracy.
  • Warrior Cats- Very close to being Red. Would probably already be there if not for the fact that 70% of its fanbase consists of “edgy” teenagers and troon shit is now an edgy teen thing. The other 30% is 30-year-old women pretending to be/about as mature as teenagers, though, so…
  • Danganronpa- There is a theory that normal Danganronpa fans exist out there, somewhere. A theory I have yet to believe or see proof of. Maybe someday…
  • Invader Zim- Huge hit amongst a demographic that has a LOT of overlap with the trans, but way past its prime. The show ended 20 years ago and its revival movie is now 5 (or 4 or something. Can’t remember, but it’s old). Most of the fans that are left are either faithful goths or loony genderspecials and very few are younger than their mid-20s.
  • Scott Pilgrim- See above, sorta. It’s got more longevity, what with the new series and the constant new content throughout the 2010s and all, but is still mostly dormant and full of older fans from a demographic that overlaps with troons more than it does involve them.
  • The Owl House- “What if we made Harry Potter, but the plot was even worse and everyone was really really gay?” That’s this entire show. It sort of sponged up all the former Steven Universe and Star Vs fans while also learning exactly how to pander to them in the process.

Run. If you see any of this shit on a profile, just run. If you don’t, you risk your very wellbeing.

  • Furry shit- Any and all of it. Seriously. Flip a coin- if it lands on heads, the person who likes this is probably a troon. If tails, it doesn’t matter (and the dude’s probably still a troon). Do not interact with the furry menace. Spare yourself the eye surgery.
  • Kink porn, especially if advertised publicly- ABDL, age-regression, lactation, most kinks related to bodily fluids/excrement, transformation, pregnancy. All these kinks (and more, probably) are especially prone to being attached to the pink white and blue. Shoutouts to sissy hypno for probably starting this whole shitshow in the first place.
  • SuperWhoLock- tumblr.
  • My Little Pony- Most of the fans are in both an overlapping demographic and the prime demographic for troonery. Also, its fucking MLP.
  • Bluey?- Going the way of MLP. No clue how popular it is with trans people but I’d be surprised if there isn’t at least some connection. I’m putting it in Red preemptively.

Input much appreciated. It’s currently 2am and I’m disorganized and sleepy as fuck so this is probably pretty narrow in scope, but it’d be interesting to expand out from here with other peoples’ input to finally answer OP’s question semi-conclusively.

I doubt it was any media that made anyone go full tranny. I could see maybe a handful of weirdos that would probably throw on a wig and some chick clothes maybe get a little purse and pretend to be a tranny for attention. Then you have the people like Macho Ma'am Tranny Savage that like to dress up as woman go out in public and fuck with the normies. Like freaking the normies out. Like going around telling people you read Mein Kampf and talking about how great Hitler is. Some people just like to do that kind of shit.

Correlation does not equal causation.

The main thing troons have in common is autism and mental illness. This results in them becoming internet addicts and spending a lot of time in online autist communities, where the Troon virus spreads rapidly.

A piece of media like Pokemon or Sonic doesn’t make people trans. It just happens that a lot of people in those canvases are autists.
