Now that Magni and Vesper were added to the Alumni section of HoloStars which, hopefully, means there truly was a peaceful end to their days with Cover, let me present to you my rrat about how things unfolded from the tweet that Magni and Vesper would stop their activites for an uncetain amount of time until their graduation.
As Magni had told he had an accident which caused him problems with his back including pain, but he would assure chat that he was feeling better, although he would need to stream less hours. Some days before the first announcement, Magni said that he had to permanently remove both of his nails in his big toes. This combined with the back problems would mean that Magni would need some form of assistance. There comes Vesper. Management was notified, but since both parties didn't want to worry the fans, they both agreed to this vague announcement. Vesper goes to Magni and he becomes his nurse. Magni is doing alright, they decide to extend the break for a while for a chance for a breather. Time goes on, there is a rrat that Magni and Vesper both helped Bettel with the unpacking in his new home (according to the photos provided with this rrat, Vesper might be melaninated).
Now, according to the streams Lando had, by himself and with Randon, Magni was not being entirely honest about how bad his back condition was. Magni was someone who wanted to sing and dance. This made it difficult for him to do so. As time was passing, Magni decided to not continue on in HoloStars.
He tells Vesper. Vesper and Magni are close. That was one factor. The other was that Vesper is not suited for a corpo environment. He was afraid to overwork management; when there was an issue with perms about Hitman, instead of asking his manager again about, he decided to not bother the managers. As JChad said to Calliope, managers are there for the talents. Vesper was kinda retarded and wasn't able to utilise the tools given to him. So, being able to see that the corpo environment didn't suit him and with Magni potentially leaving, he decided that if Magni left, so would he.
Now, whether management tried to keep both of them, or didn't really fight to keep them in HoloStars and decided to let them go, that's up to you. The delay for the second announcement was only a matter of timing, which being announced when StarJP launced its first official sub-unit, shows that that task was met with failure.
As for no graduation streams, except for being a tradition for HoloStars, I think it was Magni's and Vesper's decision.
I do not think that the rrats about contract negotiations, or the Tachibana rrat hold up. If anything, they have holes in them as well.
TL;DR: Magni was not honest with his back pain and because he wouldn't be able to do stuff, he wanted to leave. Vesper joined in because of how close he is with Magni and because he is retarted when it comes to being in a corpo. Just a rrat.
