Intriguing theory... I think the other stuff like wet brain is a little far-fetched (although entirely possible 10 years from now), but this would explain his sudden shift from a guy who refuses to swear on stream to a guy that goes around calling people faggots.

If he was financially dependent, I could see him putting on the nice guy act so his kids can eat and stuff, but once that leash came off and the mid-life crisis hit at the same time...

Except that is not what he's frustrated about. He's frustrated that he is not being 'allowed' to do whatever he wants by other people. Any sort of accountability to anyone (be they expectations from his own audience, his associates, or randoms on Twitter) appears to genuinely set him off.

Rekieta has mentioned that he is "ODD". I was also diagnosed with Oppositional Defiance Order. I have mentioned this when people ask me if I have any diagnosed disorders. Nick is really loud about braggadocios about this diagnosis, which is weird, and also probably wrong. He may have been diagnosed as ODD as a child, but ODD is a childhood disorder in DSM-4. If you're over 18, you do not have ODD. You have Antisocial Personality Disorder. I was told as a child that most children grow out of ODD, but if you do not learn to manage it, you are likely to end up in prison.


Yesterday, Rekieta messaged me at about 8pm my time. I wrote a reply that I felt was extraordinarily well drafted and which I believe succinctly hammered a series of indictments against his current trajectory. I made no demands of him but I did make a few suggestions, I simply laid out the problems he has, as I see them His reply was two messages was dismissive of everything I said. If Rekieta wants to publish this exchange I am perfectly OK with it.

My expectations for his reply was low but with what I got I have no hope for him now. His attitude is indistinguishable from Dax. It genuinely feels like talking to a completely different person.

Nick is in love with Dick, and love makes you blind. It's not that he is choosing to take ridiculous positions, it's that he cannot see how ridiculous they are through the hearts in his eyes.

If Eric July were being messed with by anyone other than Dick, Nick would be taking the exact opposite position all other things being equal. But because Dick is involved, Nick's love does not let him see what is obvious to everyone else, nor does it let him hear the clips of Dick talking about messing with his business. It's like when the robots from WestWorld say "it doesn't look like anything to me" when they see something that would hurt them.

As for the Vito stuff, you would think he would be in an awkward position between being sued for repeatedly calling someone a pedophile without any real evidence and defending someone who seems to be begging to be called one. But Dick isn't like all the other boys, mother Kiwi! Therefore he doesn't see any problem, and more worrying in just how blind he's been rendered by his love, can't see that these might not actually be jokes.
