Warlockracy - Potatozone game reviewer, has good Fallout 2 and Morrowind mod reviews, why is there no discussion about him?

What's with his robotic voice in the last two videos? Has anyone else noticed it or am i finally going insane from all the AI generated bullshit that's being spammed everywhere?
I only noticed this when I was looking at his channel yesterday but it seems like his girlfriend is doing the audio editing for his stuff now, I'm pretty sure this wasn't always the case so maybe its just that she is incompetent and the robotic voice is from her doing a bad job as oppsed to the AI theory. He also posted in reply to a comment on the Deus Ex video about him replacing mic so it could also be that, he also said he was moving in spring so he might've moved/be moving and not have a good setup to record clean audio.

meh, games punishing you for being evil or doing things the game dose not expect is not such a bad thing. evil route can be seen as taking the more easy/short sighted approach to fix a problem that will punish you in the long term.
The idea of Evil fails in video games. In most bad routes the actions you take are inexcusable for any role player and the rewards are usually lesser while locking you out of parts of the game. And worse of all, even if you do make it so there are balanced choices, players will usually ignore them to just minmax.

Most games fail at it but good ones exist. Kotor 2 lets you be crazed psychopath or a manipulative master mind that dose evil deeds but excuses those actions for the greater good of the galaxy.

Soul nomad has an evil route allow to play as this psychotic mass murderer which is a bit short but has the best moments in the game.

I doubt there will be games anymore that lets you be the villan unless its a last moment thing these days.

Still better than average Skyrim marriage.
Where your PC could marry random NPC he met on the street 12 seconds ago.
The dragonborn just has that 'let's fuck' energy. He doesn't have to do an extended quest chain or pretend to care about the NPC. He just wears the 'ready to go steady' amulet and every man, mer, and lizer wants to get in on that action.

Fable isn't a great RPG but the evil route is pretty well balanced. Being good tends to end in being self sacrificial. Being evil is sometimes the overall better or more satisfying decision regardless of the karma hit.

I mean, who didn't enjoy killing the guild master and eating his soul? Try drinking some potions now, you fucker.

New series about Fallout NV, pretty nice for someone like me who never played the original game. Highlight is calling the 2010's the age where video games started treating the players as completely retarded, which was proven right, or at least lead to an influx of retards playing RPGs which lead to games being geared more towards them and so forth.

As RPG Codex always said, it was the age of decline.

I think he's done a solid enough job on introducing it and giving a good perspective on it. NV is a game I still enjoy a lot since nothing really stops you from going all over and doing crazy bullshit if you're tolerant of some of the difficulties.
If you're willing to abuse game mechanics you can do just about anything in the game and get what you need.

Whenever I play now I just skip the Bison like Warlock does and go do something else. It's not a bad level or anything I've just done it so many times. I just go back when I can get the revolver and shit fury on the poor powder-gangers.

Personally, I always used the route through Black Mountain. There's a trail branching off the main ascent that leads to a couple of short cliffs you can drop down. Puts you right near the RobCo facility. Almost no danger so you don't have to use a stealth boy, which is great because I'm too cheap to use the things and instead just sell them all off for caps.

Sometimes i dream about an RPG game brave enough to block certain routes simply because you picked the wrong char creator option. (such as blocking out any romance option for small chin and balding head chars). Just out of spite for minmaxers and control autists.
That would be really great. Especially if there's a secret incel/femcel-meter that increases as the PC gets shot down, changing minor fluff dialogue as it increases.

New video, Jagged Alliance 3
While he says that he didn't make it a spoiler review because it's new, I think it's more that the game is just soulless use of the original with debatable QoL and the usual tropes like a color hair strong independent Pakistani woman in a head cover.

The opening message of the game is basically "the original game was racist, yet we still use its name for marketing purposes but insert modern politics to show we're doubleplus good people

Also need to check that SK Media YouTube channel

Just look at the people playing and enjoying Baldur's Gate 3 and you'll see we never left that era. The retards won. But the retards were also coomers as well.

Been interested in videos of his but felt a bit off soo... why did he subscribe to these degenerates?
don't answer that, a rhetorical question

Warlockracy being a libtard is pretty well known.

New video on Underrail, which was a long time coming and I wondered about the plot.

It's the kind of games I'm curious about, but will never play because they sound like I can perma fuck myself without a guide.

Underrail is, imo, one of the most underrated CRPGs of the last decade. Very much a throwback to older days. Game is difficult to get started and wrap your head around, but when you do it is very satisfying to make your own builds.

There are two hard checks within the first 5 hours that will tell you if your build is shit.

Good video, but he leaves out a lot of stuff believe it or not. He didn't even touch on the expansion either. Definitely worth picking up for yourself

Is making your own build rather than reading online what's the best one a viable option? It looks like the kind of games that give you enough rope to hang yourself.

The game will absolutely let you make bad decisions for stats and perks. I think its a lot like PoE, newcomer should grab a build off the forums. As you play through the game, you'll come to understand the limitations and how to get around them. With that knowledge you can then start deviating from the beaten path can come up with your own builds.

First time I beat the game was using what they call an SMG commando build. Basically a stealthy glass cannon. A lot of fun to stealth into encounters and drop 3 guys in a burst, then throw incendiary grenades on the rest. Drawback was he had 3 vitality, so hit and run was key.

One thing I think underrail does well is that each build has strengths and weaknesses, and they tend to play fairly differently. Whats easy for one build can be difficult for another.

Also, another high point is that the writing is not marvel slop. The game takes the setting and itself fairly seriously without becoming too cheesey. There is some comedy in a character you can meet and do quests for, but it is optional and I think pretty well done. He was also not in Warlocks video.

I thought the time psychic tutor was good too. Especially when you don't give back his amulet.

The underground is massive and its very easy to get lost. I haven't picked it up again but it was very fun.
