Also, the design of the bandicoots, I kinda blame the original developers on that one. Though Richie's redesigns look worse, of course (seriously why the hell do they have abs and tits. I get it's fan-service, but I'm asking on an anatomical level)?

I know someone who handles crossovers well. They can work if they are meshed well. Not just random things mashed into one thing.

I can understand in Canon with Crash Bandicoot, characters like Tiny and Koala Kong were muscle bounded. His still reminds me of how Sonic gives females humanly body parts or the whole fiasco with Rescue Ranger's Gadget.

The Crash Bandicoot from the original games resembles his IRL species IMO.
Coco and Tawna I think are the biggest offenders of not looking like their real species, they look more like humans who slapped on animal noses and ears on their persons.
Also, I have no doubt that SSC would be a pervert that faps to hentai and owns a waifu pillow.
