alot of V-tuber groups have Lore with character traits and personalities the streamer can utilise to their advantage when streaming. but many of them drop the theater after a month or so once they have gotten used too streaming.

I don't care for western vtubers when they just play Minecraft or watch weird internet shit, it's a good alternative to radio/podcasts since a ton became pozzed or too political. The problem is all this gay shit with "deep lore".

he's been streaming on twitch with an owl avatar since like 2021 I think. I am almost certain his vtubing activities are the prime reason why he's been postponing his EVE Online video for years. I don't think anyone has pressed him about it on public but I never really followed his twitch endeavours so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I wouldn't be surprised if he's done with youtube content or will be in the near future.

He's suffering from the youtube to streamer pipeline. Youtube requires higher effort and more time consuming content with a brutal demonetization system and comparatively little profit margin compared to streaming where you just turn on a camera and churn out sheer quantity for a shitload of money all without worry about demonetization and shitty algorithms. It's also a more "personal" experience for the streamer and their fans which gives both sides their desired attention.

Once they realize how much money and attention they can make with less effort and less bullshit its practically over. Guaranteed if he carves out a successful enough streaming career his youtube channel will become mostly abandoned.

There's the YouTube to Streamer pipeline, but he basically shot out the Streamer input and into some uncharted territory of vtubing and furry hell.

I also wonder if the streamer part is as good as the youtubers think. There is probably high starting gains by people following the original content, but afterwards it's a drop as you are competing in an insanely high competition market and you are basically enslaving yourself to the few whales who'll obsessively follow you, and kill yourself over multiple hour streams every day.

When I first heard Knudsen was doing some weird tranime vtuber fantasy quest thing... I thought he just agreed to read lines off a script for a friend of his or some shit.

He did the same with Internet Historian in some of his videos reading fanfics, but it really seems he's comitting to the bit here.
He has no reason to be so remorseful and guilty about any of his videos. It's not as if he is a troll or even remotely edgy. The majority of his videos were well researched, informative and quite interesting, and from day 1 it was pretty clear he tried to express this information in a way that was fairly neutral.

Who or what got to him? Is he in deep with the wrong crowd or is he trying to chase the dragon of the ever degenerating Youtube algorithim? And if he shall cope and say that making his documentary style videos are too much time and effort for what its worth, I hope he soon understands that he'll be spending even more time out of his life to participate in low quality streams that only a rabid niche will enjoy and the vast majority of people will simply not care... It's pretty empty stuff.

As much as I can understand diversifying one's content, this ain't it. He'll alienate most who followed him before as he leans further into the V-Tuber shit (which, btw, isn't actually as popular to most people as it seems), and whatever new crowd he may obtain may very well point to the time he made an evil hitpiece on Chris Chan or some shit and start making demands. Once you go down this rabbit hole of content, you'll struggle to climb out of it once you piss off the gremlins that live in caves.
