While I think the pests often do cross the line, I dont see going to a public hearing, sitting in the seats set aside for the public, and doing nothing whatsoever to disturb the proceedings to be crossing the line. Attending public court hearings is a basic right and completely legal and I do not believe crosses any lines even if Pat chimps out about the mere presence of someone. I also don't know why people get bent out of shape about taking a photograph from public property without doing dumb ween shit like knocking on the door or otherwise messing with the guy.

this happened to me the other week. a lot of my neighbors try to outdo each other on holiday decorations and while i was at the local eatery i took a pic of one guy's yard across the street and some fat bitch thought i was taking a photo of her and her car because she was pulling up as i did and doled out the usual white trash threats. upon retrospect it was probably an aspect of fatrick s. tomlinson come to punish me for laughing at him.

there was also a guy on youtube (forget the name, but it was back around 2014, 2015 or 2016 iirc) who would post videos of walking down city sidewalks with a camera in hand, recording, and people would attack him constantly. his response would always be "i'm just takin' a video" and you'd get all these nutters interrogating him. there was one video where a policeman stopped him for a while but as it is not a crime all they did was waste his time. his content was very educational, providing an insight in to just how violently paranoid a lot of people are.
