Over on /vt/, the self-proclaimed leaker of Niji shared an image claiming it is the next incoming wave. Combine that with the recent male graduations and it does make sense. Click below to have a view!

As much as I hate e-shrinking, I think that most people that don't really have experience with this sort of medication a-priori assume that they'll turn you into a zombie just because they're labeled 'antipsychotics' or what have you, or because the US is full of jewish shrinks that over-prescribe lithium and thorazine. Not all psychotropics "mentally neuter" you. In fact, since Pippa seems to have the 'schizo e-girl with poor self-care, shit attention span and some undescribable mental "quirk"' phenotype, I am more than willing to assume they'd do her more good than bad. Not apip, mind you, but something like olanzapine or an SSRI. Sure, she might lose some of her bounce, but she might gain back some of her seemingly lacking health, both mental and physical from what you described.
I was going to write a long-ass autistic post, but I already sperged out enough on this subject (even though I hate e-shrinking too), so I'll try to make it as brief as possible. Antipsychotics "mentally neuter" you, whatever that means. That's what they're designed for, they make you mentally stable. Of course not always, the brain is a black box and most of the time it's impossible to tell what makes people go insane. We don't know exactly how most AAPs work either... but whatever the case, if antipsychotics don't make you emotionally stable that means they're not working. You can't compare SSRIs and AAPs because they target different chemical paths in your brain. Not trying to oversimplify it, but let's just say SSRIs are weaker but more specific (and therefore the side effects are more predictable and managable) and AAPs are stronger and widespread. Kinda like comparing a targeted drone assassination to dropping a massive bomb in the middle of the street. For some fucking reason the doctor gave her the strongest shit first. I'd say that's because Pippa used SSRIs before and they didn't work. Not sure how the ameriburger medical system works, but in any first world country the doctor should have her medical history and the SSRI stuff must be there.

You're giving Pippa's issues too much credit. She's really good at unconventional marketing and she's able to gaslight most of her audience into thinking her life (and by proxy herself) is more interesting than it really is. That makes her a really good entertainer and that's why she has so many followers, but it also makes people think she's weirder than she really is. Diagnosing people online is retarded and we don't know who Pippa really is in real life, but there's this rule of thumb when it comes to mental illness that goes something like "if the issues can be explained by depression, anxiety, or psychological trauma, then it'll probably be that". And if I had to bet I'd say she's just a terminally online girl with social anxiety, a rough upbringing and a neglectful environment that didn't put limits on her when she reached adulthood and strated to become a NEET (which, in turn, gave her depression, because living like a NEET is the easiest way to die inside).

Not saying the doctor couldn't be right, but I just don't get why a general practitioner gave her a strong ass AAP right out the bat. It's retarded on so many levels.

Raden's debut was wild: zoomed out most of the time while chatting, didn't take off her mask, drank alcohol, wanted to smoke, speedran the artist credits in the last few minutes before ending the stream. In the first few minutes I really thought they brought back Delutaya, she really sounded similar.
Also the true reason why Starfield needs such beefy hardware

I'll admit, I am a little biased. Without oversharing, the only reason this whole thing piqued my interest is because someone very close to me is literally a copy of Pippa's e-persona, except extrapolated to a person's entire life, and without the (likely) puffing up of issues for entertainment purposes. I'll leave it at that and just add that yes, I agree that the prescription is excessive.

Also, obligatory >mutt healthcare system, kek.

On the topic of Pippa's medication, she might actually be able to avoid medication and use transcranial magnetic stimulation, which essentially uses magnets to change activity in areas of the brain. I don't think it's commonly used, but I suspect that may be due to pharmaceutical companies not wanting it to cut into profits, or something along those lines.

I was expecting Gura's new costume to be a nurse outfit because of the band-aids on the screen and the fact that the nurse shark was mentioned in the quiz. I guess that there obviously wasn't a nurse's cap in the silhouette, though.

I just want to know how in the hell is the guy still able to leak shits. How deep is the guy in Niji? A staff? A talent?
I don't think the talents would have access to this kind of stuff. I know depending on the corp (like Idol) the talents have no idea what the new wave looks or sounds like until debut. Gotta be staff/management.

Now that DEV_IS/ReGLOSS has debuted, is there any further clarity on what they (supposedly) will be doing that makes them categorically different than Hololive JP?

The dogs have been trying and failing to get past one stage in Donkey Kong Country for an hour. There's no way they're going to make it through world four, which has four stages at the start without a save point, the first one of which I consider the toughest in the game.

EDIT: They managed to pull off the 99 lives trick by bouncing off an invincible enemy with Diddy.

seems like DEV_IS is going to be a lot more music focused with ReGLOSS just being their first unit. They mentioned in their collab that they've all been already hiting the vocal and dance lessons which seems much more proactive and quick to jump into compared to previous gens.

It also at least seeing their early introductions and interactions seems like they might be a bit of a step away from the whole "Idol" thing and the baggage that can come with that and just more a push for just being normal musical performers. All of them showing a bit more of an openess to reaching out to their male counterparts with the entire gen starting to interact with them even pre-debut Ao and Ririka went the extrovert route and went to every single member of the company that they didn't interact with yet or that had not approached or mentioned them somehow. And individually introduced themselves, which included not only the JP stars but the EN ones as well which is pretty unusual for a new JP gen but seems like they might be "setting a precedent" that DEV_IS isn't going to go the way of "pretend males don't exist"

I can't help but feel like all this armchair psychiatrist/proper dosage and treatment of Pippa's autism talk is just "I can fix her" with like 50 extra steps.

I suppose you have a point in regards to it being armchair psychiatry, but maybe there is useful information anyway. Besides can you really blame anyone for being a bit... hesitant?

Also, there is a twinge of irony that you posted an image telling us to get help.
