The Mysterious Mr. Enter / Jonathan Rozanski's "Growing Around" - IndieGoGo Campaign Failed, John going off the deep end, "Turning Red" is ignorant about 9/11 (later retracted)

One thing I don’t understand about Mr Enter and all these other cartoon review channels is how much they complain about modern cartoons being full of gross out and stereotypes and bad animation but then defend The Loud House (which has the exact same tropes).
I find them to be hypocrites, as well as creepy groomers. The Loud House, a show made by a groomer, isn't as different as many of the gross-out animated shows, especially the ones airing on Nick.

FWIW, Enter has been disowning his praise toward The Loud House for a few years now, in DA journals at first and then in his now-unlisted Nick-o-Rama Season 2 trailer (around 7:50).
But still no Growing Around show
Fuck it. Place your bets now: will at least one Growing Around episode be released by the time Enter turns 40? An actual episode, not a reading or animatic or any bullshit like that.

Forgotten Nightmares - Luna Jackson

And here is the main character of my other major series going on behind the scenes - Luna Jackson. She is a fifth grader with telekinetic powers, and along with some of the other kids in the class, she is dedicated to fighting the forces of darkness. I'll go into more detail about the overall project at a later date. As for Luna specifically, she's a bit tougher of a character than I usually go for. She likes to do things on her own, and she has a bit of an angry streak. Things in life haven't going the best for her. Her mother has recently gotten remarried, and she's not too fond of the new guy, especially since she's not entirely over her own father's death. She finds that the powers and the fighting monsters thing gives her life purpose, but in the world of Forgotten Nightmares, you only keep them so long - something she is keenly aware of.

On a meta note, as a kid, telekinesis is the power that I always wanted. Video games, from my perspective, never really nailed the feeling of having telekinesis - even ones about psychic powers, like Psychonauts. Telekinesis was usually just used for solving puzzles or "throw thing." There are a ton more practical applications of telekinesis. Ironically, I think Garry's Mod and its gravity and phys guns came closest to getting the feeling of telekinesis.

I also tried to go for a bit of a different art style than I do with my typical "Growing Around" art style. This series is like... completely on the other end of the tone scale. It's harsher, darker, and a hell of a lot tougher.

I don't know why, but the art and backstory give me the same vibes as Aron Beauregard the playground. It is a book about children being put into saw like death traps. Mr Enter created a horror book without realizing how disturbing the setting is.

I think it's intentional this time, judging by how he's described Forgotten Nightmares before. Kind of smart of him, really; took people's criticism that GA's concept was unintentionally horrifying, and used that to decide that he should probably write an actual horror book. From the short story that's been released, I'm actually cautiously optimistic about Forgotten Nightmares - assuming he finishes it.

Sorry for doubleposting. Crimson Mayhem has apparently completely decided to deactivated his Twitter account permanently, and has no desires to return:

Did Mr Enter ever mention Justin Roiland, who was found innocent by a court of law and he clearly got fired from his show by employees that didn't like using #MEtoo? I am 50/50 on Mr Enter having the guts to call out the cartoon review community on YouTube. Sabersparks someone who I will have zero sympathy for once his twitter pro-cancel culture audiences turned on him. He was outright celebrating Justin Roliland being fired for shit that has been legally proven to be not true at the end of his recent John K video. My respect for Mr Enter did go up when he called out Turkey Tom and Pan pizza. I think he is still one of the more mature cartoon reviewers on YouTube. He actually learns his listens and even defend unpopular opinions. It's a discorded hug box holding him back. I think he has better odds getting his cartoon pilot done before Pan Pizza. Unlike Pan, Mr Enter doesn't have animation industry connections, yet he tries harder to make a stupid cartoon happen.

You see, Saberspark and AniMat have been doing animation reviews for god knows how long, yet they've been getting worse and worse and worse every single year. Pan Pizza, also in the community, is someone who appeals to soyboys. Mr. Enter doesn't attract any of them and has surprisingly gotten better. One of the smartest things he's done is when he never responds to the people reacting to his Turning Red 9/11 comments.

Pan Pizza, also in the community
Pan pizza should be a show runner on Netflix or Cartoon Network by now. That guy is the Spoony of cartoon reviewing. I can respect Mr Enter trying to get his cartoon off guard. I kinda wished he intentionally had made growing around a dark dystopian horror. The growing around novel was full of unintentional disturbing moments. It kinda works as a horror story about kids torturing adults.

So, I made a comic. I drew a character and a concept that I was really inspired with, and decided to do something with it. The premise was "girl wanted a unicorn and got one, but the unicorn proved to be a terrible roommate, which continually made her life miserable." Honestly though, I'm thinking that for this I might go something like a reverse Fairly Oddparents. There are fairytale/fantasy creatures that try to make kids happy, but do a miserable job at it. And many of the gags are the kids trying to get the adults to believe them that creatures like unicorns exist. For now, this was a one-off to get the experience of making a comic. I think everyone should at least give each artistic medium a try; at least once. You never know where it'll take you.

Enter really has been thriving on these sort of short-form review vids.

Can’t say the same for the comics. First thing I thought of with that one was Phoebe and Her Unicorn.

There’s no edit button so I have to double post.
He also said it would be a positive review of The Good Dinosaur.
Maybe because your post was a day old and therefore cannot be edited after 24 hours. But I do not see anything positive about that movie except for the visuals which, although admittedly it looks nice, is still just a shitty 100-minute tech demo

One thing I forgot about in regards to the latest Q&A stream.
Mr. Enter doesn’t know what Three Delivery is, but the point of Nick-o-Rama season 2 was to review all the shows exclusive to the Nicktoons channel. Did he not research the list of shows before starting the project? How is that even possible?

Does he know anything about Nicktoons Film Festival by any chance and its series of short films?
