It doesn't look too good, unless he has a whale on hand, the numbers are pretty sad for a big name youtuber in his debut. And it's 20 hours of streaming which is about half a week of work that he could spend to make videos and from that a patreon, which is an assured income.

I know fuck all about vtuber metrics, but I can say that for the only one of those faggots who had an actual fanbase prior, that his numbers are similar to the rest already paints a shit stained picture.

Also, no surprise the thot fetches better numbers, another realization thay will make Fred take a step closer to becoming Casandra or whatever the fuck his tranny name ends up being.

seems about average. maybe above average by male V-tuber standard. then again, if you take into account that he is already E-famous with a big youtube sub, its rather subpar. not sure how big the bigger male streamer in twitch are.

For an Indie VTuber who isn't part of a company and just started these numbers would be amazing. But he's not any of that. The fact he's not even able to pull in 1/100th of his DTRH fan base to watch is bad.

I don't know what his Stream viewer numbers were like when he was streaming by himself like when he did Tea stuff, but when he did streams with JabroniMike it boosted the overall viewership for Mike by about 2k viewers for the stream he appeared on.

Merry has been around for awhile and was even involved with the SamuraiBuyer scandal a couple years back.

He did a lot of mid tier meme and anime esc webcomic tier stuff on Tumblr before getting an audience. He turned that into an actual company and now has I think like 8 to 10 other artists that work under the name Merryweather. From what I've seen it's a pretty ok deal but my info might be outdated.

He's continued putting out minor comics but I'm willing to bet he has for the most part just gotten someone to are his style while he focuses on running the brand and streaming. He's okay as a VTuber....

Like if I had no one else to watch I'd probably watch him but he doesn't bring anything that interesting overall except playing up the meme personality and I think trying to appeal to gay coomers.

The issue that he has is that his subscribers unironically do not care about him. For a 1.2M channel, he has 7K on Twitter and 1.2K people in the Discord, which should be his most loyal viewers.

Fred has never been the focus of DTRH in the same way that other channels make the creator’s personality a major part of the actual content itself. It’s always been about the content being documented. Trying to sell VTuber bullshit to an audience that is subscribed for objective documentaries, especially when you’ve got a weird undercurrent of “NO history is objective, it’s all a lie” is never going to go well no matter what the actual content is.

I can’t wait for him to fuck up the EVE video launch (which I was once genuinely excited for because EVE is the kind of autism that could use a comprehensive timeline video, just not one that is almost six hours long somehow and delayed for years because of awful, not-worth-it wireframe animation by a degenerate furry, anyway) by using it to somehow advertise the VTuber bullshit.

Honestly, I think you might be on to something. It would definitely be the end of Down the Rabbit Hole and if he leans too hard into the Vtuber shit, no one is going to watch it other than other anime degenerates. He already sucks the gorldick, but do troons even pay attention to him?

I’ve seen all the DTRH videos and I watch his streams with Jabroni Mike but holy shit the last one was awful. Usually I have it as background noise but I had that shit on 1.5x speed and it was STILL insufferable. It seems like 2020 hit Fred like a truck and he’s still reeling from it.

Content creator's perception of reality: Wow, how entitled of these viewers to expect me to put out the content they started following me for.
Reality: Wow, this content creator really feels entitled to having a mindless drove of retards that will continue to support them unconditionally forever while spending multiple years not putting out a video that has become such an undertaking that its success or failure will determine the the fate of the video series altogether.

I wonder if he'd say that these 1k+ people supporting him on Patreon are in the wrong to think he's given up on Down the Rabbit Hole. Maybe he should change the Patreon to instead read "Fredik Knudsen - pursuing what I want." Seems like a bit of a false advertisement the way it is now if that's his resolution in response to people pressuring him for DtRH.

I was thinking the same thing, and just like with Spoony, I doubt the highly anticipated video will do him much good if it ever comes out.
