So crapping on the groom for relaxing and chilling during the wedding and FINALLY getting to talk to his friends is a garbage attitude. I have no problem with picmeism as a mating strategy. It is entirely valid. Sometimes some foids can get annoying but it gets the work done.

Beyond that the stereotype of the bridezilla exists for a reason and the menfolk tend to step aside because once the bride to be is in micromanagement mode nothing that she hasn't personally touched will be good enough for her. It's not like they could come up with really good looking centerpieces and decor and she would just be like "aw thanks honey one less thing off my list" nothing would be good enough for her especially surprises cause she already has a look in mind and she's just exercising control to make herself feel important.

Used to be part of an industry incidentally involved in wedding events and believe me these broads would go through every option like 50 times even if there were really only about 5 that would work realistically. One older lady I worked with would just laugh and say "A wedding is just a prom for one bitch". It's just a ritual for them and they are having fun, the fact that they are stressing out their families/in-laws is only just more control they get to exert.
