I agree with this, a lot of people assume he's a borderline communist from his association with leftpol types, however, one of the things I noticed when going through some of his reddit comments over the last week was how much he reminds me of Sargon, he wants to sound smart and be respected, however, unlike Sargon, LP is purely a bandwagoner. He hopped from being more anti-sjw with things like the RPC (basically "non-sjw" SCP) and being okay with hearing racial slurs to then the Ukraine crisis where he's with NAFO despite not really seeming to share their politics much beyond the Ukraine itself.
I do get bandwagon vibes from him, but I feel he's always been a bit on the left. He's a SNP simp and whines about brexit despite having been on welfare a lot of his life FROM the British government, and thinks he's entitled to it.
But in the end, he's a guy with numerous nervous breakdowns on his record that somehow found a boom mic with his T-34 video (will pull up my rant from the private thread soon on the welds and steel, which I might just do now)
His T-34 video was absolute shit that he made while drunk that fooled many people, despite the T-34 being the hammer that blew through the eastern front. I'll focus on the welding and metallurgy, first the metal.
He claimed that penetration tests and tables are shit that the soviets just took a rusty plate out and shot. First rust doesn't work like that. It's gonna only be on the surface and can be cleaned easily, either by a acid like vinegar, or just good old grinding. 2, what matters is the steel composition. Steel is a alloy. Armor steel is gonna have loads of good shit in it, like tungsten and mobendium. That's what they'll shoot at for a penetration test. Just because they're Russian doesn't mean they can't rig up a test plate you absolute faggot.
2, the welds. There's actually a archived reddit post we have that does a pretty good breakdown of the welds. But needless to say, while very early ones may have popped, not later ones. They were using the process SAW

Basically this is done by a machine, with a operator guiding it, making sure it doesnt fuck up. It dumps Flux pellets which help cool it, and that extremely thick wire feed penetrates deep and glops metal like no tomorrow. Reports during Korea reported cracking on T-34's, but not catastrophic failures. Why? The process is inherently stronger than the base metal. The metal will shear apart before the weld. I will give credit, this process was EXTREMELY new. The T-34's guenipigs, yet they held up, and because of the speed of the machines they went extremely fast.
Tl;Dr, LP knows nothing about cannons, metal, or welding. I'm certified in 2 welding processes, familiar with all the main types, and took a metallurgy course with a lot of book work. Bite me
If that reddit thread archive could be linked, much appreciated.
