Well, my point, from the beginning, is that this strategy is telling. There's two basic ways of getting more money as a podcast: reaching more people, or getting more money from the people you reach. Generally you'd aim to do both, and lean towards the former, as audiences tend to come and go. However, by far and away, this one leans on the latter more than anything else I've seen, to the point where it almost guarantees the former is impossible. They've had this "contempt" meme for half a decade, but it's literally true in their case.
To me, this tells you a lot about TRS, and their own appraisal of their market worth. Either they're total morons, or they think that there's no real prospect of increasing reach, or both (I'm hard "both" fwiw). In any case, that says all you need to know about the TRS/NJP.
