Recently I watched this video by that pajeet gamer psychologist guy, who I don't put a lot of stock onto, but he talked about how therapy sessions tend not to work that well for men because psychologist base the way they work on women-oriented therapy. Essentially, talking about feelings, how does that make you feel, etc. While men are more oriented to action, so they don't feel comfortable thinking and communicating what they feel, preferring instead to focus on what to do. Even when they talk about feelings, they express things in terms of action and physicality, it felt like a punch on the gut, it's like she ripped out my heart and kicked me in the balls, etc.
He still puts it to the way men are socialized, not quite saying it's the wrong way to be, but still talking from the standpoint of female socialization being the default.
Men just are that way. Surely socialization plays a role but there's very intrinsic caveman wiring that leads to men being action oriented (the problem is over there, let's go punch it or we can't do this thing, let's build something to do the thing), while women's caveman (uh, cavewoman?) wiring is about social status and achieving group cohesion and stability. So we still are cavepeople as far as our neurology and biology is concerned, men navigate the material, and women navigate feelings.
That's also why women go to men to talk about a problem, and men try to fix the problem, and the women get mad. IT'S NOT ABOUT THE NAIL!

Jokes aside, there's always outliers, but you can observe trends and some things are just very, very rooted in biological gender roles, some of which are even consistent with other primates.

I remember we were fishing one time and one guy was sprinkling corn out of one of those little plastic cups, he went for a piss, so while he was gone we took a load of corn out and scooped up some dogshit that one of the dogs had done, real nice sloppy one, and put the corn back on top, wiped off the cup so you couldn't really tell unless you were really looking, the corn was all mixed with this liquid shit with regular corn on top
