From what I've seen of his comments sections (other than the conspiracy theory ones) I'd have to disagree, although there'll certainly be a chimp out either way if he ever made the mistake of getting very political. I don't think he's any more based than anyone else his age and it's also silly to care about the politics of a guy who talks about conspiracy theories, iceberg tier lists, and shitty ARGs

True. I just think the obsession about whether, or not he's truly "based" is really fucking dumb, especially considering the fact that he's a Sunday School teacher who makes videos on Youtube, and that outside his Christian videos, his personal beliefs never come up in his content.

Pretty sure it was loudly proclaiming "THE CIA KILLED JFK" and then going into whiteboard autistic detail about why that had to be the case as well as just generally being friendly to conspiracy minded content which has been declared

But to echo the rest of the thread, I don't want him to go heavily political. The problem comes that recognizing reality or not(Trans Women are/are not women) has for a while been THE litmus test. He can sidestep the question or offer soft support until the paradigm collapses or the pressure increases till he can't.

Hopefully he'll stay the way he is and ride out the madness because I enjoy watching his 4 hour long videos on whatever he decides is interesting that month and I don't want him to start catering one way or the other.

Honestly, I don't give a shit about him being a gun nut or a Christian or whatever. I'm glad that he's just being himself without adhering to the overwhelming pressure to denounce all those things because that's the cultural norm on the vocal internet. Which includes the tranny shit.

It's refreshing given how many content creators eventually bend the knee or put political shit into their content where it really doesn't belong.

And a huge plus is that none of the culture war shit bleeds into his content. He's universally enjoyable to watch and/or listen to regardless of where you stand politically because fuck me, we don't need another Quinton Reviews.

So for that, I think he's based.

I saw a clip where Wendigoon said his favorite and the scariest thing he's ever read online was a creepypasta called "Borrasca" which I found a 2 hour and change reading of on YT. At first I kinda got what he was saying and it felt like any second the creature was about to show but after 2 hours of building up I finally get to the  Reveal. Genuinely just the most cringe shit ever and it reads like a fetish story. I'm now 100% convinced the author wrote himself into a corner or was upset at someone guessing the true ending so he wrote the most "fucked up" thing he could think of but because that takes effort instead he just wrote his depraved incest sex slave breeding fic.

Just a giant waste of my time.

Kidding aside, holy fuck Quinton looks...off. He looks so awkward. Moving on, I wonder if it's because Wendi is like Internet Historian.

You know, someone who's liked by everyone and collabs with everyone regardless of the internet zeitgeist. Remember, IH collabs with Jontron despite people reeing about him being a totes Hitler Jugend.

He just recently did a video on Faith: The Unholy Trinity and had several "Pay the Bills" videos before that. He's also got his Wendigang channel (which I haven't really tuned into).

On a side note, I'm STILL reading Blood Meridian. The text is dense as fuck despite being enjoyable and since the only time I get to read is right before bed I end up nodding off.

I like the Weird Bible podcast though the Lore Lodge guy can be a little uptight but I like the environment, I'm curious as to what his takes on Christianity and the Bible are so I can overlook some of it.

Funny you mention that because I think Quinton cut ties with Internet Historian after he decided being with the woke breatuber crowd was his route to success
