It's weird watching Courtney be so vindictive and petty while she's literally estranged herself from the entire family. To Lily's credit she at least keeps in touch for the sake of her relatives.

It's another Lolo stream, let's see what we got.
We begin with some casual banter between Lolo and Lily, they talk about random topics, and when Lolo starts talking about My Little Pony excitedly Lily asks her to stay on topic. Not sure what that means because for the next few minutes they talk about anything else besides the game. Stay on topic is just becoming Lily's way of saying "shut up I don't care".
Lolo talks about her stammering, Lily says that the speech therapy she went to as a kid was useless because they only teach you how to follow directions, and not actually how to fix your problem. People only go to speech therapy because someone else thinks their stammering is annoying. To my knowledge stammering is annoying for both parties, it's probably better to get rid of it then to let it keep being a problem.
Lolo almost starts talking more about it then remembers Lily wanted her to stay on topic, Lily agrees despite just contributing to the discussion with no fuss. I think this is why people find it so hard to talk to her, she will bend her own rules on a whim.
Lily blabs about baldur's gate characters for a long time, Mikay joins in. Lolo has no earthly idea what the fuck they're talking about and is just along for the ride. They make a Baldur's Gate character tier list. Any interest I had in these games has been withered away by these streams, it doesn't help that Lily only likes the worst fantasy tropes.

This just adds weight to the claim that there's multi-generational abuse going on in that family. They're all hugely inappropriate about sexual shit, in a way that is generally common in victims of childhood sexual abuse and trauma. They have no understanding of sexual boundaries and age-appropriate behaviour and they're all complete sociopaths. I think you should be archiving them even if they're awful reads and petty drama that doesn't lead anywhere. One day Lily may remove her posts after something especially damning comes to light. I think even if it's just for posterity that these tiffs should remain documented, especially when they're over such subject matter as child sexual assault/abuse and incest.
Maybe we don't need to have entire discussions about them but I do feel they're relevant enough and should be accessible for people to see if they so wish.
The only reason she brought that up in the first place is so that no one can point and be like 'hey why do all your favorite abused ocs have red hair like your sister who you abused'. Essentially she's just using Sucky's asks to clear her name before anyone's even accused her of something.

Going to do what stuck used to do, long clips and tangents will go in spoilers, the rest will be plain text.
An hour or so in I see this snippet in the conclusion to her generation 9 segment. She mentions Courtney.
There are a few people from her discord joining her, all of their mics clash, while her professional one is drowned out. It makes watching the stream on any speed besides normal sort of difficult. Most people present contribute nothing. Mikaila is currently drawing things while Lily is editing.
She and Mikay have another bonnie short planned, and in jubilee of their comedic stylings we get to hear Lily's sultry laugh.
I feel like this big pokemon video would be a lot shorter and have lot less effort needed if she just reviewed the game straight and didn't constantly stop to riff. I know she wants the video to be funny but, it isn't, and if I watched the video expecting an actual comprehensive pokemon retrospective I'd be severely disappointed. Especially if the critic in question exploited the exact same strategy every game.
Lolo joins in the last 50 minutes. They start asking her what she's been up to but Lily says to stay on topic. This will become a pattern in the next stream, if people aren't reacting to the incomplete video she's working on, which is constantly starting and stopping as she makes small edits and additions, she demands they stay on topic, which leads to complete radio silence for a majority of the time.
Both chat and conversation are mostly dead this stream. KP's...significant other or something gives a status update about her in the chat. It's not all that relevant though. The stream was mostly dead air until Lolo showed up. But the stream ends a little while after she does. This was pain. I don't know why she bothers streaming these if she's not going to actually interact with people in a meaningful way.
By some divine prank I ended up watching the second editing stream first, and it turns out it's a little more interesting. Will have recap of that up soon since I already wrote some stuff for it. A lurker who's been on the discord for a long time joins to talk, he sounds like Frederick Brennan. Lily complains that the player is allowed to be mean to Nemona and no one else, and the lurker says it's because Game Freak has issues with women and Nemona isn't "serenely white". Could Marah recognize that she's in a household filled with people who are 'quiet and introverted' and maybe reign it in a little bit since she intruded into their lives?

I admit I took a break from S/V and still haven't finished it so maybe there's some kind of crazy character turn heading to the finale but Nemona's whole schtick is that she's the top trainer in the school and intentionally handicaps herself against you so she can feel the thrill of having a real rival while she trains a brand-new team. I guess you could twist that into being fixated on your character but, like... because she thinks you can give her a good challenge. She's stoked about kicking your ass and respects you for kicking hers.
Again, haven't actually finished the story but I didn't run into any dialogue where I felt tears welling up. (Arven, on the other hand...)

I was thinking about this as soon as I saw her talking about a Baldur's Gate II romance video. I knew incest was going to show up.
So for a little context (as I understand it), the lead character in Baldur's Gate and BGII is an entity called a Bhaalspawn, a mortal who was 'sired' by the demon Bhaal and has some of his divine essence within them.
BGI featured a character named Imoen, an optional companion whom the fanbase took a massive liking to and who, subsequently, was promoted to a much more prominent character in the second game. Imoen was also retroactively made a Bhaalspawn herself.
In earlier drafts of the game (whose script still remains in the code, inaccessible except through mods), Imoen was meant to be a love interest. This path was removed later in development, presumably due to the implications of both characters being 'children' of Bhaal and therefore making a potential romance a little icky. (I think 'child of Bhaal' is a more metaphysical thing than strictly literal, but you can see where there might be a... misinterpretation.)
Again, this isn't accessible in the base game, but there's a mod that restore her storyline as a romantic partner. Lily played through it maybe two or three years ago. I remember this pretty keenly because the actual storyline never brings up this issue (since it was written when it wasn't one) but Lily made absolutely certain to make it as uncomfortable as possible, constantly bringing up the weird implications and making sure the audience was fully aware that the relationship was possibly incestuous. She played up being uncomfortable and just playing the mod for the other dummied-out content that it restored, but still made sure to go out of her way to romance Imoen because. I mean. Obviously just showing off the mod.
So while she's not necessarily reading her fetish into it, depending on how you interpret 'Child of Bhaal', she is also 100% flaunting her fetish in the video.
I can't even process all of this. Alternately distressing, frustrating, and very funny. If nothing else Courtney's trolling Lily is sublime.

This was actually happening earlier this year-- I think I mentioned it when I noticed that Violate no longer had an arc banner and you had to go out of your way to dig for the posts. Probably realized that just making them harder to find still left them available for the curious and finally went forward with actually removing them. BGI featured a character named Imoen, an optional companion whom the fanbase took a massive liking to and who, subsequently, was promoted to a much more prominent character in the second game. Imoen was also retroactively made a Bhaalspawn herself.
In earlier drafts of the game (whose script still remains in the code, inaccessible except through mods), Imoen was meant to be a love interest. This path was removed later in development, presumably due to the implications of both characters being 'children' of Bhaal and therefore making a potential romance a little icky. (I think 'child of Bhaal' is a more metaphysical thing than strictly literal, but you can see where there might be a... misinterpretation.)
Again, this isn't accessible in the base game, but there's a mod that restore her storyline as a romantic partner. Lily played through it maybe two or three years ago. I remember this pretty keenly because the actual storyline never brings up this issue (since it was written when it wasn't one) but Lily made absolutely certain to make it as uncomfortable as possible, constantly bringing up the weird implications and making sure the audience was fully aware that the relationship was possibly incestuous. She played up being uncomfortable and just playing the mod for the other dummied-out content that it restored, but still made sure to go out of her way to romance Imoen because. I mean. Obviously just showing off the mod.
So while she's not necessarily reading her fetish into it, depending on how you interpret 'Child of Bhaal', she is also 100% flaunting her fetish in the video.
