It's difficult for anyone who doesn't get all the subtle verbal/nonverbal nuances. the people featured in this thread feel it's sufficient to change one's name and clothes and you're good to go as the gender of your choice. They don't get that being or presenting as male/female is more than just appearance and identity.

The last technical interview I had focused primarily on simpler questions and concepts. My take was that the company believed it could train anyone the advanced stuff they'd need to know provided they had a good grasp of the basics. It's also a good way to weed out the people who claim they're proficient at X on a resume but can't explain the most basic of concepts in that area.

This. It's so much easier to avoid needless office drama by not hiring the troons whose life is nothing but drama as exhibited by their public social media posts. I can't agree more. The flippant use and word-smithing of the word "genocide" takes away from those who experienced the original, more genuine version of the word. I don't think it's moralfagging to want words to be used in proper context (so long as one doesn't sperg out excessively about it). It's a bit ironic though; in misusing "genocide", they're committing erasure against the actual victims of genocide even though they normally screech on social media about erasure in any way, shape, or form.

You know, it's funny that the way these troons are describing how they feel in woman's clothes ("coming home", "warm and comforting", "they way I wish I felt my whole life") is the same way people describe what doing heroin feels like. Weird, right?
