Nintendo Switch (Currently Plagued) - Here we shit post about the new Nintendo console, The Switch

I was mostly joking. I remember playing Spyro at like 10 on PS1 back in the 90's, and I'm glad Spyro was still around and still pretty good for younger people to enjoy so much later. He's probably transgender these days, so we're both old enough to remember good Spyro :story:
Tbf they kinds shafted spyro in his own game lol. He still was fun, decently powerful, but honestly just was on the cover to sell the first game. I'll give the Wii it's due, it kept up for a white until looking like sludge around game 4. And boy they made them way too fast. Fucking killed it lol. But it was good while it lasted, and kept me entertained many boring days after school. Still remember talking and geeking out with my friends about them. It was a good time. I thank Nintendo for porting those games every year to a increasingly obsolete console, even when the Wii U was out.

The Wii definitely had limits. A lot of games tested those. But in those limits, with its controls, a lot of magic could happen with you and your friends. Bowling was the best damn game in Wii sports. As long as you kept the wrist band on. Played a lot of Mario party at my friend's house, though never owned it. Also the Transformers Cybertron Adventures port, which was really it's own game, and my first FPS, was surprisingly good, even after playing the real McCoy. Also the Lego games rocked. Lego star wars III the clone wars had base building which my autism fucking loved

This happened to me today and it is the first time, since a while, a game made me laugh out loud for that big middle finger.

Stage took at least a dozen attempts before I was able to complete it.
Yeah, one of my favorite things about Sunshine was just how bugged it is in some areas.

This eventually lead to an crash, after around half an hour or so

I can't play F-Zero 99 and I hate this. To any representative in Nintendo: Do a remake of X or a remaster of GX or a new F-Zero entirely with the good shit from the previous games, and I'll get the successor of the Switch. No questions asked.
Sure you can, all you have to do is bend the knee to NSO.

I'm hoping that Nintendo sticks with an architecture indefinitely, so that future consoles can play the previous generation games directly and all older console games through emulation.
They sort of did this with the Gamecube through to the Wii U, the Wii U could play Wii and Gamecube games (with Nintendon't only) natively, and then it could emulate everything else, including the DS with dual screens intact. If you can grab a Wii U that isn't dead from the faulty NAND chips its a really good machine to hack.

Actually I just found out someone made a slot in device to replace the dead NAND with an SD Card.

As of today, we are now only a month of Mario wonder's launch day. Which will kick off Nintendo's 2023 holiday season. It feels crazy that it will be releasing so soon already.
what the fuck why is it coming so early
I keep thinking it's releasing in gd December looool

Goddam I didn't realize how many good games are on this fucking console/handheld

I currently have 72 wishlisted. The ones I own now are
  • Crazy BMX Rider
  • F-Zero 99
  • New Pokemon Snap
  • Sonic Mania Plus
  • Gunman Clive HD Edition
  • Color Zen
  • BitTrip Runner
  • Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
It's safe to say I'm going to have tons of fun for quite some time with this thing.

  • Sonic Mania Plus
  • Gunman Clive HD Edition
Those two are great, some of the best platformers I've played. I didn't expect much from Gunman Clive but turned out to be one of the best Mega Man-esque games out there.

Unfortunately the dev is a fag and iirc in the remaster for Gunman Clive 2 he added gay shit because the modern political landscape now requires creators to inject their identity politics into everything.

One thing I hope the next system continues to have is region free support as it would suck to go back and have region locking again on games. But, with Nintendo you never know what their next move with hardware will be.

I highly doubt they will will go back to region locking at this point. That ship has sailed and they made a big point of pointing out that the Switch didn't have it. So I don't think they'd go back on that at this juncture.

lol I got 1st in a race in F-Zero 99, Wild Goose bros rise up.

Looks like Golden Fox is the best in races assuming you have the skill, while the Wild Goose dominates Team Battle.

Queen League is coming next week, and King mid-October, dataminers found out interesting stuff in the game files including something related to one of the satelleview tracks, some arcade mode, and a death race mode.

Supposed leaks regarding Switch 2 specs and relative performance, along with reports of third party developer response to the Switch 2's dev kits behind the scenes (relevant information starts 5:40 into the video):

Edit: Also, apparently it has been leaked that a Yakuza/Like A Dragon collection will be a Switch launch title which was also reported by Spawn Wave.
