I get that Louis is a hateful idiot, but he's not entirely wrong in his criticism of Paterno or Penn State, even if he is just using it to get a cheap dunk on some random redditors.
Joe Paterno (former legendary head coach of the Penn St. football team) had Jerry Sandusky on his staff for 30 years, including 22 years as his defensive coordinator, essentially his second-in-command. After leaving the program, Sandusky would go on to be convicted of raping and molesting underprivileged boys that he gained access to through his charity foundation. There is 0% doubt in my mind that Paterno wasn't at least aware that something was going on. Sandusky was literally raping boys in the locker room showers at the university. Pure fucking evil.

TLDR - Lou is a fat retard, and likely only cares about the heinous crimes committed by Sandusky insofar as he can use them as a bludgeon to attack other college football fans on the internet, but he's not wrong about Pedo St.

Oh believe me, I was living in PA when it all came to light. As a teen at the time, it was eye opening, but my point was that the NCAA still reinstated the wins after all the bluster. Pedo shielding Paterno makes Lou shit his sweat pants from beyond the grave and to me, that's a hoot. I still feel bad for the students who had their NFL hopes dashed from being denied the playoffs; they didn't deserve that but Lou would accuse them of being part of the grand conspiracy too.

These would indeed be the ones I was talking about, figured it was Lou under Jean that was the most scathing about Welfare. Funny that this viewpoint took the longest to change to be more pro-Welfare because I imagine that Lou did not want to sound like a conservative on the level that these comments put him to be. That, or the much more simple theory that Lou can't keep a narrative going for more than a month because he has the memory of a goldfish.
