But what's crazy is that that is so fucking rare but only has a 1000x payout. You're effectively never going to get a 10/10 hit, so that "1000x" number at the bottom is only there as bait for dummies playing this stupid fucking game.

I've mentioned it a few times but, the odds of the game don't matter. The multis don't matter. It's a "sweepstakes". Once you place your bet, it checks if you won, how much, and then displays some combination of game-relevant shit to add up to that much. That's why all the highest multiplier wins are such small amounts. All the RTP and odds of the game don't matter. Slots, keno, whatever, it's all coming from the same thing. It's a massive drawing that is being played by everyone on the site. 20% of the entrants into a given drawing will win, 80% will lose, and Stake takes some amount off the top.

Edit: According to Stake's website, this isn't how it works. I don't believe them, but they claim it is random number generation.

Where did you get this from? Not saying it's wrong but I can't find mention of it anywhere. When I look up the difference between a sweepstake casino and a regular online casino the only thing they say is that a sweepstake casino give you 'free' virtual currency instead of just outright giving you X amount of dollars on your account as a loophole. Many US states ban online casinos so by giving you 'free' stake coins along with your monopoly money they get around it. If the win chances draw from the same thing then how does that work with live blackjack or roulette? There are apparently plenty of sweepstake casinos that have regular poker too. How does that work if it functions as you say? I might be completely misunderstanding what you're saying, but this doesn't make any sense to me

Not sure how it works with the live games, but as far as my knowledge of sweepstakes systems, that's been a work around for anti-gambling laws in a lot of places, so I am assuming they're using the same systems as the ones I'm familiar with. They use an interface like a slot machine, but since it's a drawing, people can only win as much money as what's been entered by the other people playing. Admittedly it is a lot of assumption on my part, but after watching so much of BMJ play, I'm confident I'm right.

As far as the live games, I think those are played relatively straight. Roulette is rigged enough without them having to do anything to it, but they absolutely could manipulate the wheel with magnets or something. No gaming commission to check, and they are under no legal obligation to play it straight anyway. Poker (I'm assuming you mean something like Texas Hold Em) doesn't need to be rigged since players just take each others money with the house getting a bit off the top. Lastly, Blackjack is well known as the least rigged casino game, but fortunately for the house, the number of greedy retards will always outnumber the truly savvy players, and even the best BJ player is at the mercy of the odds.

@RougeRed Under this logic Stake must be illegal. If live roulette and blackjack isn't manipulated like you claim the rest of the games are then it's straight up gambling and in no way a drawing. They can't even pretend that it is. The poker being rigged or not is not the issue. The issue is that poker cannot be considered a drawing or sweepstake. It's a 'skill based' game between people with money involved which must be considered gambling by legal definition, no?

Edit: Stake also has sports betting seems to not be on the US version

Yeah, it's roughly 1 in 848 million, but only pays out 1000x. They don't want to go bankrupt if some retard throws down $100 and happens to hit it though. Most of the max wins are in the 1000-2000x ballpark.

You're missing that the ordering doesn't matter. For choosing the first square, you have 10 options (selected by the player), then for the second, you have nine, then eight, etc. This is a common concept in stats: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Combination

You can read how it all works on their website. They take a 1% house edge on their "Stake original" games, which adds up to a lot of money over time. If you start with $100, and gamble it 100 times, on average the house keeps $73. The "low" multipliers are designed to limit their risk. I've played in the past an awful lot of Blackjack - a lot.

It is the only game in the casino whereby if you control all 7 boxes you have effectively closed the gap on the house edge to a small fraction and can win, but you still require a bit of luck to tip it.

With Blackjack , and holding the 7 boxes, as long as your skill and judgement is as sound as anyone else, it will be down to the luck of happening to have a big bet riding on the boxes at the right time. I.E. statistically over a hundred hands if you've been lucky enough to bet low and have been beaten 8 out of 10 times by the dealer, the odds are in your favor the next 5 hands slightly will go your way more than not.

BJ when it goes right can be a wonderful thing; and when the dealer has you and your are being eaten, it is a disgusting display of savageness.

Gambling sucks., It is fun, but the odds are always with the house over the long term.

The "sweepstakes" part refers to the redemption of Stake Cash for "prizes" (and no purchase is necessary, you can get Stake Cash just by sending them a postcard). On Stake you don't "withdraw" or "cash out", you "redeem" for crypto or gift cards. The odds of "winning" the sweepstakes happen to be 1:1. It's a little confusing, but the "sweepstakes" is actually separate from the gambling part. It's all a very Talmudic workaround to avoid laws against online gambling.
