yea thats why i was confused. i stopped watching him years ago so its weird to see how weird he got. When he did the cam whore stream it was funny, he was mocking the trends that were ok by twitch despite how inappropriate they were, of the time. Creepy childish lighting colors, plushies and cartoon print clothes. This doesn't have the same vibe, where's the joke now? He's just being a nudist/exhibitionist now. Offtopic anyway just weird to see how he turned out after success.

Kind of a waste that they aren't watching with Panko, since the entire series is in Italian.
I've been getting into Suou Patra lately and I realized that, aside from a couple of Kizuna Ai clips inserted into various videos and meme compilations and people making videos about hoes being mad at Melody, she might have actually been my first exposure to vtubers.

I watched this video before I had even heard of Hololive and just thought it was a cute little animation. There was also another video I watched around the same time the might have been a vtuber, it was a cover of Hated by the World Itself and the character on screen had short blonde hair and was dressed kind of goth, does anyone know what I'm talking about?

Speaking of Patra, I may not be an expert on 40K but does anyone else get the impression that her old group honeystrap was based on the Chaos Gods?

Basically he browsed it looking for himself expecting to be a lolcow, found himself mentioned in another thread with all positive comments. I guess he didn't realize that there was an off topic thread dedicated to him, or he checked before it existed. He probably visits the site on occasion but doesn't have an account. Also he wants us to mention his rampant misogyny.

No they were just succubus/demon designs, there was 5 originally. Under the same company was animare, an animal themed group that also had 5 members originally but lost two then expended and lost members quite a few times since.

This is Umori Hinako one of the original 5 who retired due to health reasons and came back years later as Sakamata Chloe of hololive. The other character in that video you linked is haneru the main member of that group.

For whatever reason HNST (honey strap) wasn't expanded, I think it was less popular and the design theme meant less variety. Patra is really the only one of notable success and by far her most popular videos are her weekly ASMRs.

At the risk of waking up the "all vtuber watchers are pedos" brigade: Shigure Ui got an enormous boost since she released her ironic loli 3D and she released her original song from over year now officially along with a really smooth animated music video which went viral. The MV got over 8 million views within 2 weeks and Tiktok seems to love it too.

The animator did a lot of stuff for Patra in the past and I hope now he gets more commissions from other parties in the future.
Naturally Ui got a lot of new viewers after hitting 1 million channel subs.

She's also been playing through all of the Armored Core games starting from AC1 onward which is worth taking a look at. Also another thing of note is that Patra is no longer part of HoneyStrap or 774 Inc. for that matter. She went independent earlier this year.

As far as HNST goes the only one I've watched other than Patra is Mary and mostly just her ASMR videos. Her voice is deeper but otherwise I'd say she's comparable.
