I wanted to joke about this in my earlier post with the screenshot of his channel but I was torn on it because on one hand, it REALLY feels like there's some weird nonce energy there even if Ian doesn't want it to. This is the thing that astonishes me the most about idubbbz and his downfall. He didn't give up, his content didn't go stale, and his audience wasn't bored of him. In fact, it wasn't even the open contempt he showed his audience. Instead, his downfall was caused by the fact that he tried to climb into bed with people who fucking hate him.

These breadtubers and West Coast influencers do not care how many apologies you make, how many videos you take down, or how often you declare your fans to be evil racist neckbeards. To them, he will always be the guy who got millions of views by calling people niggers and fags, which is an unforgivable crime.

He will never be one of them, because his videos stand for what they hate the most about the internet.
