After considerable thought, my reason is that conquering death, and therefore presumably also most birth as well, destroys what it means to be human. I'd prefer we went extinct to that fate. In fact, I'd press the button without hesitation, given the option. Which, YMMV.

It's forgivable that you'd make a false assumption of a fixed Earth in relation to the celestial bodies in the sky, particularly as the first people ever to seriously consider the issue. At least Striker is consistent and at least attempts to look at the bigger picture. This is the same thing that drove a wedge between them and Anglin, who for all his faults took a stand against MeToo as a movement even when it targeted someone he hated whereas TRS just saw a Jew (Weinstein) get in trouble and that's all that mattered. I don't remember them being this way but thinking back I think they've always been lame on any gender issue.

The internal debate is less about the specifics of the Masterson situation or the legal system being rigged against Whites than Striker's broader lack of morals. He's said before on Strike&Mike that only pussies frown on premarital sex and that real men sleep around. I don't think that's what really drove a wedge between them and Anglin, but in any case, the TRS position in that case was, and apparently still is, totally along feminist lines.
