No, I get the societal aspect of things around the GamerGate era vs now. My question is literally HOW this has gone on for nearly a decade when he looks like he got hit in the face with a hot cast iron pan. Fucking disgusting.

Again, speaking for myself, I just hadn't considered that he was a tranny at the time. I had only heard of "Brianna Wu", and assumed "she" was just an unusually hideous woman. Maybe I have some latent faceblindness or something.

I've known since at least I first read this thread and saw John's pre-transition pics. But I will admit that there was a time when I was fooled.

I have a theory of why so many troons failed to clock him. Though I am surprised to learn that it was not common knowledge that this creature was a troon.

Now I'm going to write it up to being a combination of several factors that will have different weights for different people, but likely are what allowed the deception to work:
  1. No overt queer-culture bullshit. The modern batch of genderspecials constantly try and own their "queer identity". Wu rarely bought up the bisexuality and that's about it. Most of what Wu was known for was being part of a feminist movement, and not an LGBT movement.
  2. Sometimes the gaydar gives you a false positive. This just happens. I am sure if you are not a complete shutting and social degenerate you have ran into one or two people who you were very confident were probably something LGBT, but no they were just some random cis straight guy which pings the gaydar like nobody's business. Anytime somebody called him out for being a tranny and he denied it, people just decided that it was a false positive. Especially when the current crop loves to own their trans identity rather than trying to be women they try to be transwomen. You know, better than women.
  3. The lie was just repeated until truth. If you say something confidently enough and enough times everyone will believe it.
  4. Edit: Autistic face blindness. I always forget how powerful it is.

president sunday is a underrated internet schizo, he may come out as relatievly sane compared to some other youtubers (AKA keffals, vaush etc) but this guy is probaly one of the most brutal psychos ones out there

They should be taking both. Biological women produce low levels of testosterone relative to men but it's still integral to maintaining bone density and muscle mass. Whatever testosterone is produced by your adrenal glands will not be commiserate to naturally produced female testosterone levels.

If these idiots aren't taking low levels of testosterone......wow. Yeah, that would make sense, the hunch would make sense. They have lost a significant amount of bone density, they are giving themselves Osteoporosis which is causing Kyphosis.

If they had played, seen, or heard about his game it would have been obvious. Only a narcissistic troon would have released something with such ugly zero effort character models. It has to be one of the ugliest indie games I've ever seen, even by mid 2010 standards.

Seeing one in the photo of him at his desk reminded me of how much they make me want to puke.

You just realized that now? The whole schtick of AGPs is that they have a humiliation kink for acting "womanly", which results in them playing up female stereotypes because they believe there is nothing more humiliating than acting and being treated like a woman. It's why the term "woman-face" was coined. It's as absurd an exaggeration as a white guy covering his face in shoe polish and red lipstick.

Oh sure, I've long been aware about it and had the consideration of using the term "woman-face". I just made a statement on it now because Wu and Keffels happened to both remark on "woman things".

It's a testament to how strongly people feared being labelled "transphobic" that the issue never came up during Wu's political campaign.
