He would like to get Rittenhouse lawyers, and some other guests on, but he has not asked them yet.

That said, I very carefully scanned them with a high resolution scanner and created possibly the only known PDFs of said books in existence so that they could be preserved by the incredible niche community of this niche RPG. So I have read the books, but digitally.
I know a lot of table top fans who buy the physical book but will read a digital copy to avoid damage

Ehhh... I'll power level a bit here and say that about 4 years ago Nick was nice enough to send me a e-book copy of the first Gaunt's Ghosts compilation (which was a pretty good read, BTW), and he said that he has pretty much all of the lore novels in electronic format. You can't put an e-book on a shelf, so why would he have them? I think what he might mean here is that he collects the physical books, but reads the electronic copies. Sorta like what @LiquidKid is saying.

I also had DM discussions with him where I asked him to explain certain lore things to me. I myself am not a huge WH40K fan, and a lot of what knowledge I have comes from Luetin09's video essays. Plus, he had an entire WH40k stream with Metokur where he seemed knowledgeable enough.

Basically, I am pretty sure he actually IS a WH40k fan.

The problem with the WH40k shit isn't that he's faking things, but rather that he and his fans have integrated that fandom into his life in cringe ways. You can't look at those photoshops of Nick and Ty as imperial inquisitors or space marines now and not wince in pain. The lawpope crap is basically going the same way against the backdrop of Monty beating huge dents into him and his expensive lawyer.

This might actually be a collective hallucination, going through his playlists on youtube he only covered 4 trials before Depp.
Rittenhouse, Edgecomb, Kim Potter, and curtis Reeves. Technically 5 but he cut off the Cannibro trial halfway for the much funnier trial of Edgecomb. Unless I'm missing one, that's all there was and it isn't actually as many as it felt like.

I don't know for sure or care either, but here's what I've got:

• Rob's been directly asked several times if he's gay. He always refuses to answer. That's fairly unusal behavior for a straight, single man.
• Last night, after Nick dealt some quality homophobic jokes at Rob's expense, Rob ignored it and seemed unbothered. He remained in chat to discuss the Costner prenup.
• The initial (DeppHeard era) female lusting for him has completely died in his chat (I often watch him).
• Lastly, months ago Nick covered a difficult and contentious gay news issue. Rob was in chat. Nick said he'd call him later to follow up and basically said Rob was gay. (I'll try to find it later for receipts.)
