Thanks for revealing that you know absolutely nothing about metal shows, Pat. I have never, ever seen anyone "walked out" of a pit in almost two decades of going to shows. Doesn't happen. Disruptive assholes are pushed out and told to fuck off, and anyone who gets hurt usually manages to leave of their own accord unless they busted their foot or something. You certainly wouldn't get pushed out if all you were doing was throwing elbows and staring people down. That's boringly normal for a metal show.

Venues and security make a lot of noise about "no moshing allowed", but they are very rarely stupid enough to actually try and enforce those rules. The one time I saw it happen was at a Metallica stadium show. A member of the venue staff, not even proper security, was sent in to break up what was by that point a 100-person pit. He just joined in. About ten minutes later another staff member arrived and was screaming at everyone to stop while holding her errant coworker by the collar. She might as well have been yelling at a hurricane to go away for all the good it was doing. Odds are if Pat's mom actually was at a Slipknot show and did get pushed out of the pit, it was for behavior like that.

My peppers didn't grow nicely this year I suspect it has to do with how cool summer was early on. The reapers grew normally but my habenero plants are rather stunted compared to previous years and the bell peppers I tried to grow never grew from the seedling state I had bought them in. Lot of other gardeners I know had the same issues with similar plants.
