Where are the insurance companies during this, I wonder? I'm no fan of health insurance companies, but it's amazing that the same corporate behemoths who need to occasionally be faxed a signed statement that your leg didn't grow back are just rubber-stamping someone embarking on a "gender journey" that will need this many surgical procedures.

Try to get anything covered off-label, try to get a monoclonal without taking a fruitless course of steroids first just to see--but here are the gender people who adamantly say there are no criteria for being diagnosed transgender, it's a lifestyle identity not a medical condition, studying results and statistics are hate speech. They're getting insurance to pay for a permanent wound that will require more surgeries later, as well as predispose them to hideous UTIs, and it's all on the strength of a "dude trust me."

Someone needs to retain a lawyer and tell their insurance they no longer identify as ALSgender and want to transition; pls cover all experimental treatments nao.
