The first two are possible, but I doubt very much the third one. The thing with Nick is he's an arrogant asshole who is convinced he's Jesus and can never do anything wrong. I doubt very much he'd unilaterally come to the conclusion he fucked up. Even when drunk.

Another possibility is that Dick advised him to take it down. Either because even he knows Rekieta was completely off his rocker, or he's concerned about admitting that he's fucking with July's business.

I doubt that. I think he thinks any lawsuit by July would be Lolsuit 2 and he would make untold riches from it.

With respect to Rekieta, that was true before, but he seems to have kind of bizarre patterns of decision making recently. Like contacting Null from the shower late at night to tell him that what he was saying about Drexel was wrong, even though Nick knew or should have known that those opinions were based off of things that Drexel literally said on Nick's show. I think it's more than possible that he decided that deleting the video was another great late night idea.

Nick is claiming that he grew up hard in Texas in his youngest days. Its vaguely possible. Education in Texas often comes down to where you live. If your parents don't understand that and buy a house with the wrong address or location. the kids can end up in a school that by the standards of suburban Minnesota is going to be horrible.
But I think its all highly exaggerated on Nick's part. I think he probably went to a not best elementary school in Texas which had non-white people and working-class people. And compared to his high school years in Lakeville MN, it was probably a very different experience for him. But I doubt it was objectively anything as bad as what he describes.
Nick comes across as a born-and-raised suburban white nerd.

There was a series of tweets between July and Rekieta the other night that suggested they were going to take their issues to PMs and try and hash things out. Nick said that he stands by everything he said, but that he admit took things a bit far (which is a bit of an inconsistency if you ask me). July said something to the effect of "it's all good, bro," and then echoed that this would be handled privately. Just recently, Nick privated the whole stream, and there's speculation as to why.

I agree with those who say July would be an idiot if he believes Nick is negotiating anything in good faith. Like Perception Check pointed out, Nick tries to gaslight people in PMs and convince them he's right. He would even do it with me back in the day. Dick is also gonna keep pushing this shit, and he could easily rope Nick back in.

That being said, July should probably not engage anymore. Saying "sure, whatever" and letting Nick simply skulk away from his embarrassment might be the smartest move here. Let the chuckfucks fuck themselves over.

I have no idea what Rumble is doing, but their file sizes are as bad as Killstream.tv was. The rip from Rumble was a whopping 14.5GB. A little over 2GB an hour.
I ran it through Handbrake, 264 at a 28 quality setting and got it to 2.8GB and it still looks fine. It's largely a static image so easy to compress. I didn't even touch the audio.
