My theory of Dick's mic echo is some sort of room reverb, it's a pretty characteristic sound. There can be a flat wall, a flat ceiling with no soundproofing or both, so when Dick starts yelling he gets loud enough that his voice bounces off and mics pick it up.

Basically Dick fucked up on one of the most important elements of a podcast, which is soundproofing the room you'll be doing your podcast in. No amount of expensive audio equipment will mask a room reverb.

Oh! Those are little nose popes on the hood, I thought those were actually purple ball sacks to commemorate the Balldo because that's all that showed on the crumpled hood.

It's crazy that there are still people scared to death of covid. Strangley I don't find it funny. I just feel bad for them. They were told over and over again by trusted sources that it was a world ending danger so now even though it's mostly dialed back they are still terrified of it and have ruined significant aspects of their lives to avoid it. It'd be interesting to see you cover it for the cumroad. It's hard to imagine there's still people out there doing that

I'm honestly torn, should they live long lives experiencing the slow decline and the consequences of their own dumb choices or should they die quickly and stop being a problem for everyone else?

Donald Trump also had a thing where he would say how much he loved someone before insulting them. "I love X, I honestly think he is a great guy but fuck him and he is dumb and retarded...". Rekieta's speeches remind me of that a lot.
