So like what would you guys say is the percentage of "True and Honest fans" that would now or at any time consider themselves a /pol/ user?

I understand where you're coming from, but I don't think there's need of doomposting. I posted it when the threads initially started, and I get both positions.

I think it's fine and healthy to have a zone for those who have been thrown off most sites just based on being women and no longer being able to have spaces for themselves, Null's doing a good job there. The issue, which I agree with you, has been the heavy moderation.

I do not nor will I agree with bans from Stinkditch just because it's in BP (and Null did state this will remain as is since it works as a deterrent) but I think Josh has been burnt by A&N far too many times already. I do not recall if it was in this same thread, but that area of the website burns through mods like Bossman burns through crack and is the Wild West. It is far too late to reign it back, so he has hard stances on it to ensure it doesn't get any worse.
Null does not want the whole BP/genderwars to scale even further, so he will just shoot to kill from the get go which is not the play here, but I do (or think so) get where he comes from.

Matt Damon did not deserve to get banned neither did the Finnish bros or some others. But Null didn't want to leave any technicality up to avoid a future "Autistic Thunderdome 2: Gender Boogaloo".

Null has put his money and life where his words are, has fought tooth and nail to keep the site up against trannies and deranged people. There's a bigger chance of Elliot No-Dong becoming Taylor Swift than Null kowtowing to troons.

I HATE smug vegans! There are a handful of individual vegans I like, but only because I've never heard their real opinions on the ~omg meat eaters~. They like to jump into a conversation and snidely say shit like, "well I don't contribute to animal suffering whatsoever." And then when you point out that the modern human lifestyle is inherently harmful to most wild animal populations, they turn around and say, "well, I'm just trying to reduce harm" but will still poo-poo over the concept of reforming industrialized farming and supporting small farmers who are more humane towards their livestock. They also get all cunty over the idea that sustainable hunting and fishing can increase the health of an animal's overall population, while causing less suffering than farmed meat. Their extreme and completely unfeasible all-or-nothing attitudes kill me, because imo, it reveals their true motivations - not to actually create meaningful improvements for animals, the environment, people, etc., but to be able to call themselves morally superior.

Probably 20-30%. I was a /pol/ user, but rarely ever posted. I still use 4chan, but only the slower hobby-oriented boards. /pol/ is too full of noise nowadays, and politics just tend to piss me off anymore.

It's a little hard to ignore that this whole terf saga has mirrored many other boards descent into shit. Even before the culture wars as we know them today "insular group joins board, gets close to admin and gains special rules" has never been a good sign for a board of any type.

I have only had troons take over places I was and it was due to their protected status, which is far above what women are getting on BP so I have no experience with TERFs taking over boards and whatever.

But I'd rather trust the boys at the top and if it continues to go down, then I'll talk shit. I don't think the current status warrants the doomposting, but I do understand where you're coming from.

I just hope you're not right this time, because you already predicted PPP's/Godwinson's downfall.
