I don't know if this has been mentioned before but specifically the type of scrubber/steel wool he's using is Chore Boy

Basically the only thing people buy this thing for is to smoke crack because as a cleaning tool its too cheap and shitty. It breaks apart very easily making it ideal for smoking crack, but not for actually cleaning ironically. If I'm not mistaken I think they only sell Chore Boy in the shittier parts of town because everyone knows what you're actually buying this for. I'm pretty sure even the people running the company that makes this are aware of what people are really using their product for.

Edit: I watched the video again and Austin is not using genuine brand name Chore Boy (TM), but instead a similar shitty crack head brand of copper scrubber and just calling it chore boy
When I was a teen you knew you were in the hood when gas station had chore boy at the register, next to blunts, roses in glass and individual cigarettes for sale.

Occasionally you’d see crusty lipped zombies at 24 hour grocery stores check out line with chore boy and tin of butane licking their lips. The fact they were buying it led me to wonder if store security had managed to put the fear of god in local crackhead circles or they were so close to hitting that pipe they didn’t want to risk a detour. Either way it was surprising to see crack heads using cash to buy anything besides crack.

I’m also positive smoke crack through chore boy has caused all kinds of cancer in crack heads who survived.

Toil of the Bossman - 2023

Gambling isn't so much about the outcome - sure that's what people tell themselves, especially addicts on the level of Austin - but it's really about those dice rolling, the uncertainty, those brief glimpses of what you'll do if you win big. That anticipation is what he's addicted to and that's why Keno is his Master, he gets to have that thrill in extreme rapid fire. To his gambling brain blackjack and roulette are twice a minute hits on the crackpipe, Keno is once every 3-5 seconds.
I feel like if Austin won big he would end up ruining his life more. Probably OD and die. His parents must be aware of him being on hard drugs now and they don’t seem to care.

I legitimately feel bad for them: they have to decide if they want to suffer and keep their son in their home where they have to hope he wants to change his life (he won’t) or have him die in the street.

I honestly don’t understand the game, I’m sure there’s skill involved, but this being his activity with the highest skill requirements is pretty depressing.
It's been a very very long time, but the only fun I had in RS was doing the quests and some skilling. Random events were fun too. Who knows how different OSRS is now though with that community voting system to add content.

That part I could understand, the whole open world and whatnot is very cool. The way BMJ does it looks like complete aids. The worst part is my bingo card has no RuneScape on it! I can’t even get on the board! :(

You know, the most amount of gambling I ever did was in Pokemon games, and even there it was easily the most frustrating, boring part of the games. I can't imagine making a "career" out of it, having to gamble day in and day out just to get some drug money. That shit is gay even when you're only gambling for imaginary monopoly money, let alone real buckaroos.
Shout out to all the people who made :informative: posts about the psyche of these people and just gambling in general, they're almost as fun to read as Austin's own exploits.

Anyone happen to have all of Austin's crypto addresses by chance? Someone has to have documented them all over time? That would be one hell of an interesting read through...

I have looked though his bc1qy28qnq8wr0793wrtu602rxlw4e3kgntavxg629 address and that's shown $59,000 in incoming and outgoing in only FOUR MONTHS. Files are linked below
